Creating inclusive learning environments requires more than awareness. It calls for continued support and community involvement. Our commitment to inclusion through the Autism Warrior Experience (A.W.E.) Programme has been recognised with a Silver Award in the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion category for the Large Companies tier at The Star ESG Positive Impact Awards 2025, held at Sunway Resort Hotel on 22 July 2026.

In partnership with Oasis Place Sdn. Bhd. and four Program Pendidikan Khas Integrasi (PPKI) schools, the programme equips parents and educators with the knowledge and skills to better support children with developmental differences.

The first KLKCare Pickleball Tournament successfully brought together six teams representing Wisma Taiko, Menara KLK and Menara Taiko at Ace Space Sport, Ipoh on 13 June 2026. Played over five competitive rounds, participants navigated fast-paced rallies and tactical exchanges that showcased agility and teamwork, while supporters created an atmosphere of encouragement from the courtside.

Once again, congratulations to all winners and thank you to everyone who contributed to making KLK's first pickleball tournament a memorable success. The success of the tournament further reflects KLK's ongoing commitment to creating opportunities that promote employee well-being and meaningful workplace relationship.

On 9 May 2026, 186 Wisma Taiko colleagues and their families, as well as representatives from the National Autism Society of Malaysia (NASOM) Ipoh Branch and Hope for Autism Society Ipoh came together for KLKCare Autism Awareness Walk. While the event centred around a community walk, its purpose extended far beyond the route itself but to raise awareness and acceptance for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

After the walk, the event featured booths by NASOM and Persatuan Daybreak, allowing the respective association to showcase the talent and creativity of their community through handmade crafts while proceeds from sales were channelled to their cause. Hope for Autism Society Ipoh Founder Mr. Richard Liew said, โ€œAs a society, we play a collective role in cultivating acceptance and empathy for individuals with ASD,โ€ during his sharing session.

A big thank you to all participants for your support and contribution to this meaningful cause. Beyond raising awareness on Autism, the programme also reflects KLK's ongoing commitment towards a more inclusive and supportive community where every individual is valued and empowered to thrive.

The second edition of KLKCare Bring Your Family to Work programme brought together 78 participants on 18 April 2026 across Ladang Glenealy and Wisma Taiko.

During the visit, participants were taken through a series of guided field demonstrations covering oil palm harvesting, Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) collection, crop quality assessment, machinery operations, fertiliser application and the use of empty fruit bunches in the field.

Colleagues also had the chance to share with their families a clearer view of how their roles contribute to KLK's operations. Allowing family members to better understand the collaborative efforts between estate and corporate functions in supporting the business operations.

The success of this programme reflects KLKโ€™s ongoing commitment towards fostering a people-centric workplace culture while creating meaningful opportunities for colleagues and their families to better understand the organisation. Beyond educational exposure, the programme also serves as a platform to create interest in the agriculture industry among the next generation.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, Management and Staff of Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad, we extend our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to Madam Jothiammal Vartharaji and the family of the late Mr. Patrick Kee Chuan Peng.
