A Meaningful Visit and Exchange of Ideas at The PWW Shop!

Members of Pertubuhan Wanita Ikhlas Taiping Perak (PWITP) dropped by The PWW Shop yesterday after attending a programme at the State Secretariat.

Madam Aileen Oon, a PWW member from Taiping, took the opportunity to share the work and initiatives of PWW with her friends, introducing them to our efforts to empower and support underprivileged women, children and families in our community.

It was a wonderful opportunity for both NGOs to exchange experiences, share positive ideas and learn from one another on how we can further strengthen our work and create a greater impact in the communities we serve.

Thank you, Madam Aileen and friends from PWITP, for visiting us and for your continued support. Together, we can do more to uplift and empower those in need!

Beautiful Batik Bookmarks with a Purpose!

Add a touch of Malaysian batik artistry to your reading with these lovely batik bookmarks, handmade by a group of trainee teachers from Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus Ipoh!

Over the past two Fridays, the college allocated one hour for student activities, involving almost 400 trainee teachers. To make meaningful use of this regular activity time and their collective manpower, the trainees came together to contribute to community service by creating these beautiful batik bookmarks for sale at the PWW Shop.

PWW & The Lost Food Project โ€” Working Towards Sustainable Food Support

PWW is grateful to be part of the beneficiary community supported by The Lost Food Project (TLFP), which is currently in the midst of setting up a hub in Perak.

This morning, the Perak Branch Manager, Mr Selva, paid a working visit to PWW to learn more about the empowerment work we carry out and, most importantly, the impact these initiatives have on the communities we serve.

We had a meaningful discussion on the basic food needs of the poor and underserved communities we work with. We look forward to building a long-term and sustainable partnership with TLFP to strengthen food support and create greater impact together.

We are heartened to know that TLFP has shown such positive and generous support towards the communities in need across Perak.

Together, we hope to reduce food insecurity, support families in need, and empower communities towards a more sustainable future.
