The 79th TAM National Annual General Meeting (NAGM) was successfully held on 26 April 2026 (Sunday) at Impiana Hotel, Ipoh, with an encouraging turnout of members from branches across the country.

During the meeting, a new lineup of office bearers was elected for the 2026–2027 term. Congratulations to Ts. Poo (Alex) on his appointment as the new TAM President, Ir. Ts. Louis Tay as Deputy President, and Mr. Poh and Ts. Lai as Vice Presidents. A new committee was also elected to lead the association for the upcoming term.

The Meeting Minutes and Financial Report were presented by Ts. Ong (Raymond) and Mr. Siew, respectively, and were duly accepted by the members during the NAGM.

As a token of appreciation, certificates were presented by Ir. Ts. Louis Tay to all EXCO and Council Members in recognition of their commitment and contributions to the association.

Special congratulations are also extended to TAM Perak Branch Vice Chairman, Prof. Dr. Ts. AJay, on his successful election as an EXCO and Council Member for the 2026–2027 term. We wish him every success in carrying out his responsibilities and contributing to the continued growth of TAM.

The TAM 79th National Annual Dinner was successfully held in conjunction with ICCEGT 2026 and the TAM Technical Talk Series 2026, gathering TAM members from all 9 branches across Malaysia for a wonderful, fruitful, and exciting evening filled with friendship, networking, and celebration.

The dinner created a meaningful platform for members, industry leaders, academicians, researchers, sponsors, exhibitors, strategic partners, and invited guests to strengthen relationships and foster future collaboration.

The 79th TAM Perak Branch AGM was successfully held on 28 February 2026 (Saturday) at Politeknik Ungku Omar (PUO), with a strong turnout from members.
During the meeting, the meeting minutes presented by Honorary Secretary, Dr. Ts. Shalini and the financial report presented by Honorary Treasurer Ts. Liew.
A new committee was also elected for the upcoming term for 2026-2027.
Appreciation certificates were presented to the previous committee 2025-2026 by TAM Perak Advisor, Mr. Ooi, in recognition of their hard work, dedication, and contributions.
In addition, certificates were presented to new members by TAM Perak Chairman, Ir. Ts. Wong. A brief introduction to TAM was also delivered, highlighting the benefits of joining the association and the roles and support that TAM provides to its members.
Members were also briefed on key upcoming activities, including the Technical Talk Series, conference, National Annual Dinner, and the National Annual General Meeting scheduled from 24th to 26th April 2026. The briefing was presented by Prof. Dr. Ts. Ajay.
