A meaningful day of collaboration with Rise Against Hunger, together with Rotary Club of Bukit Bendera and Rotary Club of Tanjong Bungah, proudly sponsored by AMD. Together, we packed 242 boxes for delivery to homes and communities across Penang. 🌾

From carrying boxes of rice to arranging deliveries to Tanjong Bungah, Casitas, Vallalar Batu Maung, Vallalar Sungai Ara, Crystal Home, Sivashanta, and the Rohingya community, every little effort counts. 💪🏼🤝

Rotary Club of Nilai Central launched its environmental sustainability initiative with a tree planting project at ACS Seremban under the theme “Rooted in Community: Growing a Green Legacy.”

Together with the students and staff of ACS Seremban, the PIBG (Parent-Teacher Association) and the ACS Old Students Association, the club planted 20 citrus trees on the school grounds. The tree saplings were donated through the support of YB Nicole Tan and represented by her husband, Mr. Aldrin Chan Wei Yin, both ACS alumni.

More than planting trees, this project is about inspiring the next generation to care for the environment. The citrus trees will provide lasting benefits to the school while encouraging student leaders to take an active role in protecting nature.

This initiative marks the beginning of Rotary Club of Nilai Central’s long-term commitment to environmental sustainability, showing how communities can work together to grow a greener future.

The 6th CPR & AED training session brought together participants from De Jiao Hui and the Buddhist Association to learn essential life-saving skills.

Through hands-on training in CPR techniques and the proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator AED, participants gained the knowledge and confidence to respond during medical emergencies.

This initiative empowers more people to take action when every second counts. By learning CPR and AED skills, participants are better prepared to respond in emergencies and could one day help save a life.

Rotary Club of Petaling Jaya, in collaboration with The Lost Food Project, continues to provide year-long fresh vegetables and essential food supplies to more than 300 Orang Asli families at Kampung Orang Asli Bukit Manchung.

Barely eight days into his presidency, President Harjit was already on the ground with his team, overseeing the distribution of crates of fresh carrots and cabbage, together with fresh milk, fruit biscuits, Milo powder, oat milk and the children’s favourite treat, packets of Kit Kat chocolate wafers.

This ongoing initiative helps ease the daily needs of Orang Asli families while ensuring they have continued access to nutritious food as Rotarians continue to bring care, hope and lasting impact to communities in need.

Rotary Club of Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, in collaboration with fellow NGOs, carried out a street feeding and community outreach project in Pudu, Kuala Lumpur, bringing essential groceries and daily necessities to those in need.

Pudu, one of Kuala Lumpur’s oldest and most densely populated neighbourhoods, is home to many lower-income families, informal workers and elderly residents who face food insecurity. Through this initiative, Rotary members reached out directly to the community, offering not only essential supplies but also care, compassion and hope.

Rotary Club of Kuala Lumpur DiRaja had the privilege of presenting five motorised wheelchairs to children and young adults with cerebral palsy at the Selangor Spastic Children’s Association.

More than providing mobility, these wheelchairs restore dignity, create new opportunities and bring hope to the recipients and their families. For one young recipient, it became the most meaningful birthday gift they could ever receive.

The club extends its heartfelt appreciation to Rtn Mike Plascow for leading this meaningful initiative, together with KLRCF, the Selangor Spastic Children’s Association, the RY 2025/26 Board of Directors, and every Rotarian, parent, caregiver and supporter whose generosity made this project possible.

Together, we continue to create lasting impact through Service Above Self.

Rotary Club of Subang, in collaboration with INTI International College Subang and Majlis Bandaraya Subang Jaya (MPP Zone 3), conducted an interactive session with senior citizen of Subang Jaya through the Digital Literacy for Seniors – Click, Connect & Stay Safe Project.

The session buddied more than 30 seniors with students from INTI, helping them gain confidence in using digital technology while learning practical tips to stay safe online. Seniors walked away with the simple but powerful mantra: STOP – THINK – VERIFY.

This initiative highlights how community collaboration can Create Lasting Impact by empowering seniors, bridging generations, and fostering safer digital inclusion.

This is part of an ongoing series of Digital Literacy Project for Seniors, and we look forward to welcoming more seniors in our upcoming sessions as we continue building a digitally confident and connected community.
