In October 2019, a handful of parents, volunteers and one professional formed PERSATUAN PEMBANGUNAN PENDIDIKAN KANAK KANAK ISTIMEWA PERAK (3PKI), IPOH PERAK.
Our focus was to contribute towards the education of children with Autism with Autism Spectrum Disorder to bring the best in them by best in them by setting up a centre.
Ipoh Fine Arts Society, staged a show by the fusion band AKASHA in August 2017 and raised R30K to set up the centre. This put the team of parents, volunteers and professional to work. Over the next 2 years, further funds were raised. The brethren of Kinta Lodge, Individual Doctors, Parents of children with Autism and Perak Medical Prationers Society made further contributions.
We then found a suitable place at 55 Jalan Rajaratnam, Taman Canning, 31400 Ipoh, Perak. and acquired the necessary approval from the authorities.
