🌳 Site Visit by YB Wong Chai Yi & MBI Landscape Department
Today, we were honoured to welcome YB Wong Chai Yi, together with officers from the MBI Landscape Department, for a site visit to Taman Permainan, Taman Lapangan Raya.
The visit was arranged by YB Wong Chai Yi following the Residents' Association's request regarding several long-standing issues affecting the playground and surrounding area.
During the visit, the committee members and residents highlighted various concerns, including:
✅ Overgrown trees posing safety risks
✅ Tree roots damaging drains, walkways and road surfaces
✅ Blocked drainage causing flash floods after heavy rain
✅ Fallen branches and dry leaves affecting public safety
✅ The need for regular landscape and grass-cutting maintenance
We appreciate the time taken by YB Wong Chai Yi and the MBI Landscape Department to inspect the site, listen to the residents' feedback, and discuss the necessary improvements to create a safer and more pleasant environment for the community.
We sincerely thank YB Wong Chai Yi, the MBI Landscape Department, and everyone involved for their commitment and support. We look forward to the implementation of the proposed improvement works for the benefit of all residents.
Together, we build a safer, greener, and better Taman Lapangan Raya. 🌿
