July Neutering Impact 🐾

This July, 66 stray dogs were given a better future.

Thanks to the continued support of Yayasan Sime Darby, our campaign has now reached 102 dogs neutered, bringing us one step closer to our goal of sterilising 300 stray dogs.

Every dog sterilised is one less litter born into hunger, cruelty and uncertainty. It’s a kinder future for the dogs already living on our streets, and a more compassionate future for the communities they share.

Progress isn’t measured by numbers alone. It’s measured by the suffering we prevent, the lives we protect, and the future we’re building together.

To everyone who has supported this journey, thank you. Your compassion is creating lasting change, one dog at a time.

✨ It is with heavy hearts that we share the sad news that our beloved boy, Pom Pom, has passed away yesterday.

Despite all the treatment he received, his body gradually gave up, and he began having continuous seizures. 😔

Rest in peace, dear Pom Pom. We will see you again on the other side. 🌈🐾

An informer found a dog dragging itself near a workshop. She is not from Ipoh and only came here for a visit. While she was in Ipoh, she came across this injured dog.

June Neutering Impact 🐾

Thanks to the support of Yayasan Sime Darby, 36 stray dogs were successfully neutered in June as part of our mission to sterilise 300 dogs in Ipoh, and create a more humane future for stray dogs.

Neutering is more than population control. It helps prevent unwanted litters, improves animal welfare, and reduces the challenges faced by communities managing stray dog populations.

Every dog sterilised means fewer lives born into suffering and one step closer to breaking the cycle.

Thank you for helping us build a future where stray dogs are protected, cared for, and given a better chance at life. 🐾

✨ Remember Pom Pom?

We have some sad news.

On 27th July, Pom Pom was taken to Midtown Falim Veterinary after he became weak, quiet and lost his appetite.

Blood tests showed that his red blood cell count was low and his kidney readings were very high.

His red blood cell count continued to drop, so we urgently brought in our blood donor, Jaylalitha.

Even after the blood transfusion, his blood level only increased to 16%, although it was expected to reach around 20%.

To make matters worse, his kidney disease caused a build-up of waste in his body, which led to painful ulcers on his gums and made it difficult for him to eat.😔

He is still on IV drips and his progress is very slow. We are taking it one day at a time and hoping he will pull through.🙏💪

✨ Yesterday, the young adults of PapanSouls came together to help de-tick the dogs at the landfill. Each dog was given NexGard Spectra wrapped in a liver ball, making it easy for them to take their medication.

This treatment will help control tick infestations and improve their skin health.

A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers for your time and effort.

Together, we are making a difference, one dog at a time. ❤️

Yash passed away today after a brave battle with cancer.

His biopsy confirmed that he had a transmissible venereal tumour (TVT). Sadly, the cancer had already spread throughout his body, and the tumours had become large and aggressive. Despite treatment with chemo jabs, the cancer continued to progress, and his little body became too weak to continue chemotherapy.

Throughout his journey, he was surrounded by love, comfort, and gentle care. Although our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering. 😔

Rest peacefully, beautiful boy. Until we meet again on the other side. 🌈 🩷
