Because of your kindness, 570 souls in our care never had to sleep hungry. Every contribution, no matter how small, helped fill tiny tummies and reminded these dogs that they are not forgotten.

As we begin a new month, we once again ask for your support. Our current meal funds will only last until the end of next week, and we urgently need help to continue feeding the dogs under our care.

✨ This is Reena.

She was rescued on 30.12.2025 from the area opposite Papan Landfill. Reena was one of the female dogs who had given birth at the landfill. We managed to trap her, have her neutered, and she was released back to her territory.

Last year, we received information that Reena was suffering from a nasal tumour. By the time we caught her again, her condition had already deteriorated significantly.

She was admitted to Midtown Falim Veterinary Clinic and later discharged to our safe house, where we continued to care for her. Sadly, Reena passed away a week later.

During her final days, she was surrounded by care, comfort, and so much love from our volunteers.

Her medical bill amounts to RM 1,397.00. Our total outstanding bills at Midtown Falim Veterinary Clinic and Klinik Haiwan Lahat currently stands at RM 7,405.50.

Case 🐕: 09/2026

We have been trying to slow down, to take fewer cases so we don’t stretch ourselves too thin. But sometimes, when a dog in obvious pain is right in front of us, we just can’t turn away 😔.

This is the third cancer case we have taken in within the past two months.

We have named her Akshaya. Her lower body is covered in tumours. She was caught on 19th April and brought to Midtown Falim Veterinary Clinic the following day.

She is anaemic too. One of the tumours has already been surgically removed, and the sample has been sent for biopsy.

Now we wait, about two weeks for the results.

We are holding on to hope, but it’s hard not to worry. The tumours seem to be growing bigger with each passing day. 🥺

At the moment, we are also caring for two other cancer dogs.

Moti is battling nasal cancer, and Yash is suffering from TVT tumours that have spread all over his body.

Each of them is fighting their own painful battle, and we are doing all we can to give them comfort, care, and a chance to heal. 😢

🐾 Her name is Scotty. The good news is that her legs are not fractured. However, there is compression between Lumbar 6, Lumbar 7, and Sacral 1, which may cause pain and nerve compression.

She still has sensation in her hind limbs, which means there is hope for her to regain the ability to walk again.

Scotty is also anaemic and is currently boarded at Midtown Falim Veterinary Clinic.
