峨崙人 Gurun lang

峨崙人 Gurun lang Gurun is a small town and a major industrial park situated within the parliamentary district of Jerai in Kedah, Malaysia.

"Gurun" in English means desert, however the town does not resemble in the slightest the meaning of its English translation. Gurun is located between Guar Chempedak to the north and Bedong to the south and can be reached via a highway; the North-South Expressway, and it even has its own train station. The main road junction in the town center connects the western part of Kedah to the town of Jenia

ng and the district of S*k. The junction was currently shifted to a new location situated in front of Gurun Post Office due to the construction of Malaysian double track railroad. The construction of Gurun Railway Station is a part of the Bukit Mertajam - Alor Setar railway extension project started in late 1912 and completed in 1914. The project was carried out under the Federated Malay States Railway Administration and officially opened for the public in 1915. The station was now demolished in order to make way for a new railway station located about 1 kilometer to north of the old station. Gunung Jerai, formerly known as Kedah Peak, is a massive limestone outcrop situated to the west of Gurun and is the highest point in Kedah rising 986 metres (3,235 ft). It is the main tourist attraction to Gurun.

💫 卫塞节是佛教徒纪念佛陀诞生、成道与涅槃的重要日子。
今年，马佛青文化委员会特别举办全国卫塞节美术比赛，邀请孩子们透过色彩与画笔，忆念佛陀的智慧与慈悲，同时激发艺术创意与无限潜能。
Wesak Day is a sacred occasion commemorating the Birth, Enlightenment, and Passing of the Buddha. This year, the Cultural Committee of YBAM proudly presents the National Wesak Art Competition, inviting children to express compassion and creativity through colours and brushstrokes.
🎨 用色彩描绘慈悲，用画笔走一段心灵之旅。让每一笔，都成为温暖与希望的延续。

州赛 State Level：6月 June
全国总决赛 National Level：6月28日 28 June 2026
