📌 老师，我的孩子应该学什么才对？
很多家长常常问我：
👉 “孩子说不喜欢，是不是就不要学了？”
👉 “要不要让孩子自己决定要学什么？”

我的答案是：家长不能只被孩子的喜好牵着走。

🌱 孩子还小，还没有办法判断什么是“对未来有帮助”的。
父母的角色，是帮他们看清：
✔️ 这个东西是不是必要？
✔️ 适不适合孩子的阶段？
✔️ 能不能培养成习惯？

🎯 喜欢当然是加分项，但学习更重要的是“需要”和“坚持”。
真正的成长，往往不是在舒服区里完成的。

📌 Teacher, what should my child learn?
Many parents often ask me:
👉 “If my child doesn’t like it, should we just stop?”
👉 “Should I let my child decide what to learn?”

Here’s my answer: Parents shouldn’t be led only by what the child likes.

🌱 At a young age, kids can’t yet judge what’s truly beneficial for their future.
That’s where parents step in — to guide and decide:
✔️ Is this skill necessary?
✔️ Is it suitable for my child’s stage?
✔️ Can it become a habit that benefits them long-term?

🎯 Liking something is a bonus, but learning is really about need and consistency.
Real growth often happens outside the comfort zone.

📌 Teacher, what should my child learn?
One of the most common questions I hear from parents is:
👉 “Should I focus on fixing my child’s weaknesses?”
👉 “Or should I invest in building their strengths?”

The answer is — both matter.

🔹 Work on the weaknesses, so kids don’t lose confidence over their struggles.
🔹 Build on the strengths, so they can shine even brighter in what they love.

🎯 Champions are not made by “just going with the flow.”
They succeed because they keep improving their weak spots while pushing their strengths to the next level.

🌱 As parents, it’s not only about “letting kids do what they like.”
True growth happens when children learn to overcome challenges,
and gain the skills that give them more choices in the future.

今天，我们用 C 和 F 和弦，一起走进音乐的快乐世界。

第一首歌是马来西亚人在学习马来文的时候必学的马来歌谣，原曲是《Clementine》，简单易学！

第二首是轻快的 《Iko Iko》，节奏一来大家都跟着拍手。

🎵 One Chord, Two Fun Songs!

Today let us join into a world of musical joy with just 2 chords.

For the first song, it was a "must learn song" for Malaysians while we are learning our Bahasa, originally .

The second was the upbeat "Iko Iko", and as soon as the rhythm kicked in, everyone was clapping along.

No complicated skills needed —
just feel the music, and it becomes the simplest kind of happiness. 💛
