一年一度，
从恭迎到恭送，
这一场中元，圆满落幕。🙏🏻

From the Main Celebration to the Final Send-Off.

On the 20th Day of the 7th Lunar Month,
we celebrated Da Shi Ye’s Qianqiu Birthday.

On the 22nd Day of the 7th Lunar Month,
we respectfully sent Da Shi Ye off on His return journey.

Once a year,
from welcoming Him to bidding Him farewell,
this year’s Hungry Ghost Festival has come to a meaningful and complete close. 🙏🏻

With gratitude for His blessings and protection.
Until we meet again next year. 🏮

感恩有你们，圆满这一场中元。

一年一度的中元庆典顺利圆满，
背后离不开每一位理事、工作人员与所有参与其中的人。

从前期筹备、布置现场、准备供品，
到仪式、布施、接待与每一个大大小小的细节，
都是大家一起分工、一起坚持、一起完成。

很多事情，
也许大家看到的只是短短几天，
但真正付出的，是一整段时间的准备与心力。

谢谢每一位理事的同心协力，
谢谢大家愿意出时间、出力、出心，
一起把这份传统继续守下去。

也感谢所有前来参拜、支持与参与的善信朋友，
因为有大家，
这一年的中元庆典才更完整、更有意义。

一场庆典会结束，

Grateful for Everyone Who Made This Celebration Complete

Our annual Hungry Ghost Festival celebration has come to a successful and meaningful close.

Behind these few days of celebration were the efforts of every committee member, volunteer, staff member, and everyone who played a part along the way.

From the early preparations and setting up of the festival grounds, to preparing offerings, organising ceremonies, charity distribution, welcoming devotees, and taking care of every small detail — everything was made possible through teamwork and dedication.

What everyone sees may only be a few days,
but behind them are countless hours of preparation, effort, and commitment.

Thank you to every committee member for giving your time, strength, and heart.
Thank you for working together to preserve and carry forward this tradition.

We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to all devotees, supporters, and friends who joined us throughout the celebration.

Because of everyone’s presence and support,
this year’s Hungry Ghost Festival became even more meaningful and complete.

The celebration may come to an end,
but the friendship, teamwork, and tradition will continue.

With heartfelt gratitude to everyone. 🙏🏻

「 普渡众生，也传承善念。」

一路说到这里，
我们从无主孤魂、供品、上香，
到一场普渡仪式背后的意义，
慢慢看见了中元普渡里另一面更温柔的心意。

一场普渡，
表面上看见的是供桌、香火与仪式，
但真正留下来的，
从来不只是这些形式。

我们准备供品，
是希望有缘前来的众生都能得到一份供养；
我们上香礼拜，
是表达对天地、对众生、对传统的一份敬意；
我们一年一年继续筹备、继续参与，
也是希望这份善念，不只停留在这一代。

中元普渡教我们的，
并不是害怕看不见的众生，
而是在懂得敬畏之后，
依然愿意保留一份善意与体恤。

一份饭、一杯水、一炷香，
看起来很简单，
却可以承载一份尊重、一份关怀，
也让这份传统继续有温度地走下去。

普渡众生，
也是在提醒我们把善念留下。

愿众生得供养，
愿各得安宁；
也愿这一份慈悲与敬意，
继续一年一年传下去。🙏🏻

「 Pudu for All Beings, Passing On Kindness. 」

Throughout this series,
we have explored wandering and unclaimed spirits, offerings, incense,
and the meaning behind the rituals of the Hungry Ghost Festival.

Along the way, we begin to see a gentler side of Pudu.

What we see may be tables of offerings, incense, and traditional ceremonies,
but what is truly being preserved goes far beyond the rituals themselves.

We prepare offerings
so that all beings who come may receive a share.
We light incense and pray
to express our respect for heaven and earth, for all beings, and for tradition.
And year after year, we continue to prepare and take part,
so that this spirit of kindness does not end with our generation.

The Hungry Ghost Festival is not simply about fearing what cannot be seen.
It also reminds us that with reverence can come compassion,
and with understanding can come kindness.

A bowl of rice, a cup of water, a stick of incense —
simple as they may seem,
each can carry respect, care, and sincerity,
keeping this tradition meaningful and alive.

To make offerings to all beings
is also to remind ourselves to keep kindness alive.

May all beings receive their share of offerings,
may all find peace,
and may this spirit of compassion and respect
continue to be passed down year after year. 🙏🏻
