ROSE Charities Malaysia was honoured to have a meaningful and fruitful courtesy visit with the Consulate-General of Japan on 3rd August 2026 at His Excellency's office.
We sincerely thank the Consulate-General and his team for taking the time to welcome the ROSE Charities Malaysia delegation and for the warm hospitality extended to us.
During the meeting, we had a valuable exchange of ideas on strengthening Japan–Malaysia friendship at the community level, particularly through initiatives involving:
1. Japan–Malaysia Cultural Exchange
2. Healthy & Active Ageing
3. Community Volunteerism
4. Lifelong Learning & Language Exchange
5. Social Integration of Japanese Residents & MM2H Community
6. Corporate CSR & Community Partnerships
ROSE Charities Malaysia also shared our vision for the proposed “ROSE Japan–Malaysia Friendship & Active Ageing Initiative”, which aims to create more opportunities for Japanese residents and Malaysians to connect, learn, volunteer and build lasting friendships.
With our existing Japanese Members and our commitment to expanding the Japanese community within ROSE, we hope to develop meaningful programmes that bring our two communities closer together. We are welcoming All Japaness Communities in Penang to join our daily activities at our centre and become our members.
We are grateful for the opportunity to establish this connection and look forward to exploring future collaboration and friendship between ROSE Charities Malaysia and the Japanese community in Malaysia.
