Cohort 2 of the Generation of Engineering & Tech (GET) Talent Program has officially wrapped up its final workshop session! 🚀

84 Form 4 students from 12 Penang schools explored technical and power skills modules across four workshops. GETT is designed to shape them into the engineers and tech leaders of tomorrow. 💡

Next, GETT students will put their knowledge into practice through a software and hardware team project. These final projects will be showcased at an upcoming Graduation Ceremony, on 17th October, bringing together students from both Cohort 1 and Cohort 2.

Cohort 2 would not have been possible without our industry hosts—Boston Scientific, ams OSRAM, Intel, and NI (part of Emerson). Also, a big THANK YOU to our dedicated facilitators for their support and guidance!

Two Advanced Workshops Down, Two More to Go!

📌 The journey towards Kedah Digital Festival 2026 continues!

On 28 July and 2 August 2026, 196 students from across Kedah gathered at Dewan Al-Farabi, Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri Kedah, for the MakerTech Primary Advanced Workshop and Engineering Design Secondary Advanced Workshop.

Throughout the workshops, participants strengthened their skills in REKA:BIT, Tinkercad, 3D printing, Design Thinking, and pitching. They worked together to refine their ideas and develop project prototypes for the upcoming competition.

We sincerely appreciate Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri Kedah (JPN Kedah) and our dedicated UiTM student volunteers for their continued support and commitment throughout both workshops. We are also grateful to Stellantis for supporting this initiative and helping create meaningful learning opportunities for Kedah’s young innovators.

Two workshops completed, with two more to go! We look forward to seeing more young innovators continue their journey towards Kedah Digital Festival 2026 on 30 September 2026.

All the best to every participating team. See you at Kedah Digital Festival!

AI for Social Good: A Youth Data Science Program participants have successfully completed Workshop 4!

During Workshop 4, students met their mentors from Keysight Technologies, who will guide and support them as they work on their own data science projects.

Students also explored Deep Learning, gaining an understanding of how AI can be used to identify patterns, make predictions, and address real-world problems.

The workshop also introduced students to AI ethics and responsible data use, highlighting the importance of protecting privacy, handling data responsibly, and understanding the impact of AI on society.

A sincere thank you to our mentors from Keysight Technologies for sharing their knowledge, expertise, and guidance with our participants. Your support plays an important role in their learning journey.

With the support of their mentors, students have now started developing their own projects. We look forward to seeing their ideas take shape and come to life!

Stay tuned for more updates as our participants continue their learning journey!
