今年的護士節，多了一份特別的溫暖。

由腎友與志工共同籌備的慶祝活動裡，我們一起回顧了護理團隊一年來陪伴腎友的點點滴滴，也再次看見那些熟悉卻已離開的身影。

無法親臨的腎友，特地錄下祝福影片；腎友與志工們也一起獻唱，把平日說不出口的感謝，輕輕唱進歌裡。

腎友劉家棋更親手用藤編製鑰匙圈，送給每一位護士。小小的禮物，藏著長久陪伴後最真誠的心意。

在笑聲與感動交織的午後，我們再次感受到：原來醫病之間，早已不只是照護與被照護，而是一份彼此陪伴的情誼。💛

This year’s Nurses Day carried a different kind of warmth.

Organised by patient volunteers, the celebration reflected on the many moments shared between nurses and patients throughout the year—including memories of patients who are no longer with us.

Patients who could not attend sent heartfelt video messages, while volunteers and patients came together to perform a song for the nursing team.

Dialysis patient Lau Kar Kie also weaved rattan keychains for every nurse—a small gift carrying deep gratitude.

Amid laughter and emotion, we were reminded that care is never one-sided. Over time, it becomes companionship, trust, and family-like connection. 💛

一場意外導致嚴重的左股骨骨折，讓64歲的先生承受巨大疼痛。無電梯的公寓階梯，更讓他成了真正「走不出來」的人；若沒有物理治療的及時介入，他可能再也無法靠自己的雙腳走路。

過去五個月來，慈濟居家療護團隊與志工主動「走進去」，一路與他同行。我們為他進行了4次家訪與15次物理治療。從最初需要密切攙扶，到學會疼痛管理、安全移動，如今他不僅能走得更遠，甚至能重新練習上下樓梯了！

每一次的進步，都是堅持與愛的累積。

When the suffering cannot step out, the blessed must step in: Love Beyond the Stairs

A severe left femur fracture left a 64-year-old patient in immense pain. The stairs of his walk-up flat made him truly someone who "could not step out." Without the crucial intervention of physiotherapy, he might never have been able to walk again.

Over the past 5 months, the Tzu Chi Medical Home Care team and volunteers proactively "stepped in." We walked alongside him, providing 4 home visits and 15 physiotherapy sessions. From needing close assistance to managing pain and safely navigating stairs, he can now walk longer distances!

Every step forward is built on persistence and compassionate care.

𝟭𝟲𝟵𝟮 粒麵包背後的故事 🍞

2026年4月30日的清晨，我們在洗腎中心裡，比平日多了一份忙碌與期待。為了迎接5月1日Batu Kawan佛教堂動土儀式，我們一起投入麵包製作。

從常駐志工、社區志工、大愛爸爸、慈青學長，到腎友與家屬、護理團隊、TIMA菩薩，大家圍在一起，有人揉麵，有人分工，笑聲在空氣中流動。那一刻，我們不只是完成一項任務，更像一個溫暖的大家庭。

腎友家屬阿Lim過去半年在麵包坊的學習，今天終於派上用場；而腎友 Muliani 熟練的動作，也藏著她一路走來的努力。每一顆麵包，都揉進了彼此的心意。

當 1692 粒小餐包完成時，我們收穫的，不只是成果，而是那份合和互協的喜悅。
原來，付出與承擔之中，我們也被滋養著。

On the morning of 30 April 2026, our dialysis centre felt a little more alive than usual.

As we prepared for the Batu Kawan temple groundbreaking on May 1, volunteers, patients, families, and staff came together to make bread. Hands moved in rhythm—kneading, shaping, sharing laughter.

A patient’s family member, Lim, who had spent months learning at the bakery, stepped confidently into his role, while dialysis patient Muliani’s steady hands told her own story of practice and growth.

By afternoon, 1,692 buns were ready—but what stayed with us was something deeper: the joy of working together, and the quiet way of nourishing us too.

🧹 一點一滴，讓空間重生

志工們抽出寶貴的時間，從大廳到儲藏室，一點一滴地整理與打掃，讓空間重新煥然一新。連入口的木門，也在細心粉刷下，慢慢恢復了溫潤的光澤。
這些默默付出的身影，用雙手把環境照顧得更整齊，也把一份用心，留在每個被經過的地方。

Volunteers set aside their precious time to care for the centre, moving gently through each space—from the main lobby to the storage areas—cleaning and restoring order.

Even the wooden entrance door was carefully repainted, bringing back its quiet warmth. Through these simple acts, they leave behind not just cleanliness, but a sense of care in every corner.

為迎接慈濟60周年與浴佛典禮，護理團隊帶著感恩的心，走訪檳城各洗腎中心，親手送上代表平安健康的「壽桃」及匯聚點滴善念的「竹筒」。這不僅是為了結一份清淨的好緣，更是為了感恩醫療同行們，在守護腎友這條路上長期的相互扶持與陪伴。
期盼這份溫暖的祝福，能串聯起在地醫療網絡中更多的愛與力量！

To celebrate Tzu Chi’s 60th Anniversary and the Buddha Bathing Ceremony, our nursing team visited other dialysis centres in Penang to share blessings. We gifted Longevity Buns for health and Bamboo Banks to inspire collective goodwill, building beautiful affinities and expressing deep gratitude for their continuous mutual support in caring for dialysis patients.

May this shared kindness continue to bring warmth and strength to our medical community!

眼睛看不見，也能用心編織💛
Even without sight, he weaves with heart 💛

𓍢ִ໋🌷͙֒ 為了迎接慈濟60周年與浴佛典禮，志工與腎友齊心用回收包裝編織600個花籃。

對失去視力的腎友劉家棋來說，這充滿挑戰，或許會讓人以為他是新手。但其實，他是擁有證書的編織好手！憑藉經驗與專注，即使看不見，他短短一小時便完成了多個籃底，展現無比的堅韌！

𓍢ִ໋𓍢ִ໋🌷͙֒ To celebrate Tzu Chi’s 60th Anniversary and the Buddha Bathing Ceremony, we are upcycling plastic wrappers into 600 orchid baskets.

For dialysis patient, Lau Kar Kie, weaving without sight was challenging. You might think he’s a beginner! But he’s actually a certified weaver. Relying on experience, he quickly completed several basket bases in an hour, showing incredible resilience!

4月11日，雙溪大年慈濟人醫會（TIMA）為32位感恩戶與志工舉辦了一場充滿溫度的健康檢查。現場匯聚了西醫、中醫、護理、藥劑、營養與物理治療等專業團隊，讓大家在熟悉的環境中掌握自身健康。

感恩居林醫院外科主任羅仁勇醫師帶來「以奔跑的力量對抗癌症」專題分享，引導大家以積極的心念與生活方式面對健康挑戰。

誠摯感謝從檳城跨區支援的醫療團隊、雙溪大年醫院腎臟科 Dr. Alwin，以及所有無私付出的 AIMST 大學生與社區志工。齊心守護，讓愛延續！

On April 11, the Tzu Chi International Medical Association (TIMA) in Sungai Petani hosted a heartwarming health screening for 32 care recipients and volunteers. With a multidisciplinary team of western medicine physicians, TCM practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, nutritionists, and physiotherapists, participants were empowered to take charge of their health in a familiar and supportive environment.

A special thank you to Dr. Lo Gin Yong, Head of Surgery from Kulim Hospital, for his inspiring talk, "Fighting Cancer with the Power of Running," which encouraged everyone to face health challenges with a positive mindset and an active lifestyle.
Our deepest gratitude goes to the medical team from Penang for their cross-region support, Dr. Alwin (Nephrologist at Sungai Petani Hospital), AIMST University students, and all dedicated community volunteers. Together, we safeguard health and let love continue!

👫 【清晨五點半的無聲問候：把付出化為日常的人間菩薩】
𝗔 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝟱:𝟯𝟬 𝗔𝗠: 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲

每逢星期二，清晨五點半，洗腎中心尚未開門，外面已經傳來輕輕的掃地聲。志工夫妻檔——惟予師兄與慮施師姊，總是肩並肩出現，與一群精進的志工們，用最簡單的方式開始一天的付出。掃把在地上輕拂的聲音，就像在無聲地跟每一位早起洗腎的腎友說聲「早安」。

到了星期三，兩人又會在洗腎室的走廊推著輪椅，陪伴腎友離開治療室。這些看似簡單的小動作，其實藏著他們多年來的耐心與愛。

聊起做志工的故事時，他們笑著說，做志工沒什麼特別的，早就變成生活的一部分了。只要有人需要，伸出雙手，就是最自然的選擇。

Every Tuesday at 5:30 in the morning, before the dialysis centre fully awakens, the soft sound of sweeping can already be heard outside. Volunteer couple Brother Wei Yu and Sister Lu Shi arrive side by side, starting their day with the simplest act of care. The gentle sweeping becomes a quiet greeting for every patient arriving for treatment.

On Wednesdays, the same pair can be seen guiding wheelchairs through the corridors, accompanying patients leaving the treatment rooms. These small gestures may seem ordinary, yet they carry years of deep patience and love.

When asked about their journey, they smiled and said volunteering isn't anything special—it's just a part of their daily lives. For them, volunteering is not something extraordinary—it has simply become part of daily life. When someone is in need, offering a helping hand feels only natural.
