M'sian Armed Forces Chinese Veterans Northern Chapter's NY 2026 event.
In appreciation to MACVA NC Volunteers Action Team 's contributions on goodwill for its Veterans and Caring Society in the Region,A simple Tea ceremony with light meal was held in a local restaurant in BM Penang.
About 20 Team members from various Services who were Ex-Soldiers from Army, Navy, Airforce&Wataniah attended followed by a 1st NC VAT meeting for 2026 was called by the Team's Chairman Mr Tan Soon Seng who is also a very active RT Chairman of his Taman in SPT for the last two decade.Thank you.
NC VAT members met for a fresh start effect for Year 2026 to boost the Team's motivation to go beyond some simple new year's resolutions focusing on dedicated, consistent actions forward besides the welfare of its Veterans in Northern Region,the Team do take charity concern in terms of deserving M'sians who needs help and community including Environmental in general.
On the 3rd day of 2026,NC Team members already paid a home visitation to a Rtd Airforce Major, an octogenarian due to lung infection but recuperating well who resides in SW district Penang,
A Navy Veteran in his 80 who was admitted to BM Hosp with calculi of the kidney.
Fruit baskets and Get well Wish AngBao were presented to both veterans individually wishing them a speedy recovery by Penang Island welfare Team Leader and VAT chairman in BM hosp.
Thank you very much to all Team members for your selfless contributions, A total of 45 activities were carried out in 2025 and looking forward for 2026 more events are being planned including Mid-Autumn Dinner,a MACVA National celebration event to be held in Penang in Sept 2026.
