COEX@Kilang Besi is an independent creative hub at Hin Bus Depot, initiated by aLM Architects as an adaptive reuse project that transformed a former metal scrap factory into a space for exhibitions, talks, workshops and community-led collaborations.

|| 巴奈 Panai 來了 音樂會｜檳城場 ||
Music Concert by Panai

巴奈是臺灣原住民創作歌手，長期參與土地、原住民族權利與社會議題。2000 年發行首張專輯《泥娃娃》，其後持續以音樂回應身份、土地、環境與歧視。2024 年專輯《夜婆》獲第 35 屆金曲獎最佳臺語專輯；2025 年推出《來了》，再獲金曲獎提名。

這也是巴奈第一次在馬來西亞舉辦專場。
「我想要傳遞我們島嶼土地上的故事，有女性的、原住民族群的處境、追尋自我⋯會帶著生命故事，說說怎麼成為自己喜歡的樣子。」

Panai makes her Malaysian solo concert debut in Penang.

A Taiwanese Indigenous singer-songwriter, her music is deeply connected to land, identity and social issues. Beyond performing, she has long been involved in Indigenous rights and social movements, bringing stories of women, Indigenous communities, self-discovery and lived experience into her songs.

這個計畫鼓勵藝術家打開自己的工作室，讓大家有機會一窺平時難得看到的創作環境、作品草稿和創作過程。
不少藝廊也會特別趁這段時間策劃新展；至於沒有自己工作室或展覽空間的藝術家，也有許多書店、咖啡店及其他空間(如:我們) 提供場地支持。

來自台灣的 Neo-Soul / R&B 創作歌手、貝斯手與製作人，LINION 以 Groove 與貝斯為創作核心，遊走於 R&B、Soul、Funk 與 Pop 之間。

配合新專輯 《自己自己 mi casa su casa》 的發表，LINION 展開亞洲城市巡迴分享。「自己自己」來自蘭嶼朋友的一句口頭禪，意思並不是 me and myself，而是「自己來、不要客氣」；也呼應西班牙文 mi casa su casa「把我家當你家」

檳城的 laid-back、細膩且鬆弛的節奏感，與 LINION 的創作理念和聲音特色相呼應，相信這場交流，会让大家在音樂與生活之間產生不少共鳴。

LINION is a Taiwanese Neo-Soul / R&B singer-songwriter, bassist and producer whose music is shaped by groove, rhythm and a distinctive bass-led approach.

With the release of his latest album, 《自己自己 mi casa su casa》, LINION is taking the project across a series of Asian cities. The phrase mi casa su casa carries the spirit of “make yourself at home” — an invitation to arrive without too much formality, settle in, listen and share.

That sense of ease feels especially fitting in Penang. The city’s laid-back rhythm finds a natural echo in LINION’s own sound: subtle, relaxed and deeply groove-driven.

It is always a great pleasure to host Penang Shorts , also known as the FreedomFilmFest pg edition

This year, the team Andrew Han , Ezzah Mahmud , Wan Atikah WY returned from Emerging Curator Lab, standing strong in their commitment to local voices, building a platform for them, and bridging them through different narratives, showcasing the richness and depth of Penang stories.

From the screenings and masterclass at COEX, to the sessions held at n u i and Hin Bus Depot 興公司 , it somehow felt like a gathering for filmmakers, film lovers, or even just people who are concerned about their surroundings.

Yanshui is a small town located in Tainan, Taiwan, widely known for its vibrant festivals and light art, including the famous Yanshui Beehive Firecrackers Festival, the YueJin Lantern Festival, and the YueJin Art Museum. A local art collective, deeply rooted in the community, has been continuously driving regional art projects and community engagement.

Yu Yu Art Studio, Chen Yu Ting

禹禹藝術工作室成立於2005年，長期投入裝置藝術、公共藝術，以自然材質、複合媒材的創作實踐。團隊在二十年的累積中，逐步從單件作品的細緻雕琢，擴展至場域整體的思考，在指標性燈節、地景藝術與國際交流中，持續探索空間感知的多樣可能。

除藝術創作外，近年亦投入地方活化協助營運台南鹽水月之美術館，並策畫執行《漫月美行動》與《新營波光節》等展覽，整合多年積累的實務經驗，在不同場域構築深刻的美感體驗。

Founded in 2005, Yuyu Art Studio specializes in installation and public art, utilizing natural materials and mixed media in its creative practice. Over twenty years of evolution, the team has expanded its approach from meticulously crafting single artworks to shaping entire spatial environments—continually exploring new dimensions of spatial perception through iconic light festivals, landscape art, and international collaborations.

In addition to creating art, the studio has recently embraced local revitalization. It helps operate Tainan’s Yuejin Art Museum and has curated major events like the “ Yuejin Art Museum Festival “ and the “ Xinying Shimmer Festival “ Drawing on two decades of hands-on experience, Yuyu Art Studio crafts deep, immersive aesthetic experiences in a variety of settings.
