Absolutely thrilled to reflect on the impactful sessions of Tourism Tech Community on December 28th, 2023. A heartfelt thank you to J Suites Hotel and Entopia by Penang Butterfly Farm for their invaluable participation!
In these dynamic meet-up sessions, J Suites Hotel and Entopia by Penang Butterfly Farm management actively supported 25 Startups and Digital Penang's initiative, focusing on three key pillars:
1. Ways of Engagement between Penang Tourism Ecosystem Players and Penang-based Startups: Exploring collaborative opportunities and synergies within the local ecosystem to strengthen ties between players and startups.
2. Encouraging Open Innovation and Digitalization of the Penang Tech Industry: Delving into strategies to drive industry progress through innovation and the adoption of digital solutions.
3. **Developing More Tourism Tech Providers from Penang:** Emphasizing the need to nurture and support the growth of tech providers within the vibrant tourism sector of Penang.
The sessions were characterized by open discussions, providing a platform for exploration without an immediate commitment.
Both tourism ecosystem providers shared valuable insights:
- Offering a deeper understanding of the mission, values, and contributions of each organization to the industry.
- Addressing real challenges, from manpower to awareness, that organizations in the tourism tech space are grappling with.
