The Damansara Toastmasters Club proudly and successfully held its first virtual meeting for the 2025/2026 term on July 17, 2025. With the inspiring theme "New Dawn, Bold Steps," the evening unfolded seamlessly, marked by high spirits, joyful laughter, and strong camaraderie among members, guests, and external role players.
The meeting ran smoothly from start to finish, thanks to the outstanding contributions of everyone involved. We were honoured to have TM Rathakrishnan Menon as our General Evaluator, whose thoughtful and encouraging feedback set the tone for continued excellence. Special appreciation also goes to Area E1 Director, TM Alicia Hoy, who lent her expertise as a Project Speech Evaluator.
A heartfelt thank you to TM Subhadra Thevy, who admirably carried out dual roles as both Toastmaster of the Evening and Project Speaker with great poise. We also extend our gratitude to TM Samantha Yong Yun Wei from Super Speakers TMC, who served as Grammarian and shared valuable observations that enriched the meeting.
The highlight of the night included powerful speeches by TM Ravy Perumal, TM Hans Tan, and TM Subhadra Thevy, all of whom delivered with passion and confidence. The Table Topics session added a fun, spontaneous twist, allowing participants to flex their impromptu speaking skills while keeping the energy high.
This successful kickoff signals a promising term ahead. Kudos to everyone for their dedication and enthusiasm. Letโs keep the momentum going strong in our upcoming meetings!
