The artwork "Diasporic Journey" is a Nakshi Kantha that delves into the lives of Bangladeshi students in Malaysia. The artwork is a collection of embroideries that depict various aspects of life, including identity, belonging, resilience, and cultural preservation, through embroidered symbols of home, education, migration, and achievement. The stitching depicts individual and communal experiences of departing the family and settling into a new environment, facing difficulties, and living for dreams. The artwork incorporates various elements from the traditional embroidery techniques of Bangladesh with elements from the contemporary lived experiences of international students navigating the space of two worlds.

Hossain Sazzad is a distinguished culture journalist currently working with The Daily Bangladesh Post. He has a deep passion for arts, culture, literature, music, and cinema, with a particular interest in exploring cultural trends and artistic developments across the globe.

Throughout his career, he has actively covered numerous art exhibitions, cultural events, and film festivals both in Bangladesh and internationally. His reporting and feature writing reflect a strong commitment to promoting cultural exchange and highlighting the creative achievements of artists, filmmakers, and cultural practitioners.

In addition to journalism, Hossain Sazzad is a versatile writer. His book SM Hall Diary was published in 2010 and received appreciation from readers. He also writes drama and short-film scripts, contributing to the country's growing creative industry. As a columnist, he has written for both national and international media outlets, offering insightful commentary on culture, society, and contemporary issues.

A talented lyricist, Hossain Sazzad has written numerous songs and continues to contribute to the music industry through his creative work.

Academically, he completed both his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Dhaka, specializing in Human Resource Management (HRM). Despite his business education, his enduring passion for arts and culture led him to engage extensively in media, cultural journalism, and creative writing.

With a unique blend of academic knowledge, journalistic expertise, and creative talent, Hossain Sazzad remains dedicated to documenting, preserving, and promoting arts and culture at both national and international levels.
