On 19 May 2026, Postal Forum, in collaboration with City-Link Express (M) Sdn Bhd, successfully conducted an online briefing session on the Code of Practice for Postal Services (CPPS). The session brought together 27 participants from various levels and departments, deepening their understanding of the CPPS requirements and how these standards translate into everyday operational practice for the postal and courier operators.
The virtual session delivered meaningful, CPPS-grounded insights across several key adoption areas including CPPS provisions governing the proper handling of complaints, consumer redress mechanisms, and security obligations for the protection of postal network facilities. Participants also took the opportunity to exchange views on current industry realities, raise concerns, and seek clarification on how specific CPPS requirements apply to their day-to-day responsibilities.
The engagement reflects a shared commitment to upholding the standards set out under the CPPS, e.g. strengthening responsible service delivery, enhancing consumer confidence, and fostering a more sustainable, resilient, and competitive postal and courier industry. Postal Forum looks forward to deepening its collaboration with industry players, supporting CPPS literacy and adoption as a foundation for continuous improvement and implementation of best practices across the sector.
