The first pre-watching fact tt caught my attention was - running time - 104mins. Ok thats seriously short! 1 hour 44 mins! Then again, in the hands of a master (not u
Mr absolute cinema 🤭) a lot can be achieved / communicated. Another pre-watching fact - (I heard u Mr ) when asked 'why is the next movie slate after ? "The script was incredible & the story was complete" ❤️ Batman has felt rebooted every time new actor dons the cowl. Superman is not that different. However this DC Studios Superman followed by is beautiful! It's like a tune composed of two contrasts but when u overlay them... They harmoniusly fit as one! Superman movie is totally / tonally in contrast w Supergirl movie just as Clark =/= Kara... Clark's life =/= Kara's life... Clark's world =/= Kara's world. If David was the chosen one for Clark = Milly is the chosen one for this universe Kara 🫶🏼 "He sees the good in people, I see the truth". A James Gunn produced movie (in this era) always knows grab + gut my heart 💖❤️🔥❤️🩹💘 [GotGvol2&3, Creature Commandos] and this is no different - I do feel Kara's trauma but I think the quick pace editing doesnt let us drown in her loneliness / isolation... Self distruct-Ness. To summarise also with 'contrasts' SUPERGIRL (2026) is journey of two tragedy struck girls with contrasting character, beliefs & totally different planets... becoming 'super' (extraordinary)... I think we need more of this today.

End - to all those who made jokes & memes of Milly Alcock w Will Pouter or the other images... Ok-funny-haha enough then. was the right choice for this Supergirl she's a fresh face, edgy, relatible, down to earth (AussieAussie) ☺️ She is Kara, Supergirl 🦸🏼♀️& she is The Woman of Tomorrow - what the f*** would u know about the Woman of Tomorrow?
