PERSATUAN KEBAJIKAN SHAMMAH (Reg.no. 0024-08-PPG) is a shelter home for orphans, children of poor single mothers, underprivileged, unfortunate children of broken and abandonment homes. These children are referred to us by friends, family members, church members and NGO’s. Intake of children is done after a thorough screening, interview, house visit and confirmation of child situation. Firstly, we
make sure that all paper works and necessary documents are in order. Abused cases are accepted only if mother or referred provides medical and police reports. House visits enable you to see first- hand the unhygienic living conditions of these children. Secondly you see the children being deprived of decent education, normal family life, discipline and caring environment. Our belief of P.K.S is that these children deserve to be given what is rightfully deserved. As the number of children grows, we find that we need assistance to make sure that there is no lack in any area. We need about RM 7000 at the moment to cover our monthly expenses. We would be much grateful for any help in cash or in kind rendered to PERSATUAN KEBAJIKAN SHAMMAH.
