大山腳傳統文化系列之一：
威省福建會館衆理事步行恭送天公爐，移至玄天廟安置供奉。
配合農歷正月初九天公誕，遵循傳統禮俗，威省福建會館於年初八，將天公爐恭送至玄天廟安置供奉，讓善信上香膜拜，直至年初十，延續敬天酬恩之古禮。
每年年初八上午，該會館天公爐爐主在副爐主，威省福建會館會長，署理會長，總務，衆理事等人的陪同下，把天公香爐從會館送去玄天廟，一行人在醒獅熱鬧助興下，從會館步行經過威中交警局前往玄天廟置放供奉年初十，屆時該天公爐也請回該會館。
今年年初十，下午6.30pm 爐主,副爐主,衆理事及鄉賢們 將天公爐 請回至 威省福建會館。

The committee members of the Seberang Perai Hokkien Association respectfully es**rted the Heavenly Jade Emperor incense burner in a ceremonial procession to the Xuan Tian Temple for temporary enshrinement and public worship.
In conjunction with the Birthday of the Jade Emperor on the 9th day of the Lunar New Year, and in faithful observance of traditional rites, the Association ceremonially sent the Heavenly incense burner to Xuan Tian Temple on the 8th day of the Lunar New Year. Devotees are invited to offer incense and prayers until the 10th day, continuing the time-honoured tradition of reverence and thanksgiving to Heaven.
Every year on the morning of the 8th day of the Lunar New Year, the custodian of the incense burner, accompanied by the deputy custodian, the President, Acting President, Secretary, and committee members of the Association, es**rts the Heavenly incense burner from the Association’s premises to Xuan Tian Temple. The procession, enlivened by a traditional lion dance, walks from the Association building past the Seberang Perai Tengah Traffic Police Station before arriving at the temple for enshrinement until the 10th day. On that day, the incense burner is respectfully invited back to the Association.
This year, on the 10th day of Lunar New Year at 6:30 PM, the custodian, deputy custodian, committee members, and community elders will ceremonially es**rt the Heavenly incense burner back to the Seberang Perai Hokkien Association.
