Carrying the inspiring theme “GREENOVATE: Youth Turning Vision into Action for a Sustainable Future,” this congress stands as a regional catalyst for young minds to tackle real-world challenges through science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

Through this meaningful collaboration with SEAMEO RECSAM, the 14th SSYS continues to champion the next generation of innovators. This empowers them to create positive change in their communities and across the SEAMEO region.

We are excited to strengthen this partnership and look forward to welcoming all participating young scientists to an event filled with inspiration, learning and impact.

On 6 August, Eco-Schools Malaysia joined the 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝗶 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗮𝘁 𝗨𝗿𝘂𝘀 𝗣𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗻 𝗞𝗲𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘀𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗸𝗮𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗸 𝗣𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻 & 𝗞𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟯𝟱 in Penang, hosted by the 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗮 (𝗞𝗣𝗠).

This inaugural session brought together educators, policymakers, and sustainability leaders to align strategies for embedding ESD & GCED in schools.

🎯 As a core member of the national committee, Green Growth Asia Foundation (GGAF) supported the session by gathering feedback from participants and contributing to policy recommendations through the Eco-Schools platform.
