🇲🇾 A Proud Moment for St John Ambulance of Malaysia

Heartiest congratulations to Dato’ Lai See Ming, Commander-in-Chief for St John Ambulance of Malaysia, on his appointment as a Trustee and member of the Trustee Executive Committee (TEC) of The Order of St John.

The TEC plays an important role in overseeing the management, governance, financial and regulatory affairs of the Order internationally, with its members serving in the interests of the Order as a whole.

Dato’ Lai’s appointment is a significant recognition of his leadership and dedicated service, and a proud achievement for St John Ambulance of Malaysia on the international stage.

SJAM Melaka Tengah Area proudly extends our highest congratulations to our Deputy Area Commander, Mr. Yong Ping Chuan on being honoured with the Pingat Bakti Masyarakat (PBM) during the Istiadat Pengurniaan Darjah, Tauliah, Bintang dan Pingat Kebesaran Negeri Melaka, held in conjunction with the 77th Birthday of Tuan Yang Terutama Tun Seri Setia Dr. Haji Mohd Ali bin Mohd Rustam, Yang di-Pertua Negeri Melaka.

This prestigious recognition is a testament to his dedication, commitment and outstanding contributions to the community, as well as his unwavering spirit of service and leadership.

Throughout his journey with SJAM, Mr. Yong Ping Chuan has continuously demonstrated the values of leadership, compassion, responsibility and service to humanity. His dedication and contributions have not only strengthened our organisation but have also inspired fellow officers, members and the younger generation to serve the community with sincerity and purpose.

This honour is not only a recognition of his personal dedication but also a proud moment for SJAM Melaka Tengah Area.

🚑 全马六甲第一辆 Ambulance Bus，23/8 首次亮相！

这个星期日来到 Fun Run Jiwa Merdeka 2026，除了跑步、亲子活动和各种摊位，还有一个很难得的机会——

St. John Ambulans Malaysia Negeri Melaka 的 Ambulance Bus 将首次公开亮相！

这不是普通的救护车，而是一辆可以充当 流动医疗中心、急救站及医疗指挥中心 的大型救护巴士，未来可用于社区健康检查、大型活动、紧急事故及多伤患处理。

车上可进行包括血压、血糖、胆固醇、尿酸、血氧、BMI 等健康检查，也具备更大的医疗及急救空间。

来到现场，记得一定要带孩子和家人上去参观！
马六甲目前唯一一辆，而且是第一次亮相，真的不要错过这个难得机会！ 🚑✨
