What a day on the farm! We had the joy of hosting the wonderful team from who spent the day getting hands-on alongside our students.

Together they planted, learned all about BSF and sustainable farming, tried their hand at hot composting, and followed the chicken rearing life cycle — right down to egg picking and feeding time! 🐔

The day wrapped up perfectly with a farm-to-table Nasi Kerabu, shared together around the table. Thank you, Kerry, for spending this time with our students :)

🌱🐔 Five days of endless learning.

For a week, 22 students from and 32 of our students came together to learn, grow, and experience the daily activities of a farm. 🌿

From planting and composting to caring for chickens and exploring sustainable farming, every day was filled with hands-on experiences, teamwork, and new friendships.

A huge thank you to everyone who made this enriching exchange possible. Here’s to nurturing curious minds, caring hearts, and a more sustainable future! 🌏🌱

A group of students from woodworking skills class came together with their trainer to build a new chicken coop.

Across x days, they cut, assembled and build up the structure from scratch. The finished work? It's comfortable for the chickens so we think it's a great job done. 🐔👏

Azolla ponds at the farm — we’re harvesting fresh azolla to feed the chickens. 🌿🐔

Azolla is a fast-growing aquatic fern rich in protein, vitamins, and minerals. It helps reduce feed costs, improves egg production, and supports healthier, stronger chickens naturally.

It’s harvest day at the farm, and our pumpkins are finally ready! 💛

The team have been working hard to build new vegetable beds! 🥬

We also built steps along the slope to make it easier for our students and visitors to explore the farm.
