For our August Outdoor Program, we brought the children to AEON BIG for a hands-on shopping and life skills learning experience. 🛒
The children followed the shopping lists prepared by their parents and used the pictures on the lists to identify and find the required items in the supermarket.
Throughout the activity, the children learned the steps involved in shopping, such as locating the correct items, weighing fruits at the weighing station, collecting the items, queuing patiently, and making payment at the cashier.
Through this real-life learning experience, the children were able to apply the life skills they learned in class to a real-world setting while developing their independence, observation skills, ability to follow instructions, social skills, and daily living skills. 🌈✨
8月份的 Outdoor Program，我们带领孩子们前往 AEON BIG 进行生活技能学习与购物体验。🛒
孩子们根据父母事先准备的购物清单，按照清单上的图片寻找指定物品，在真实的购物环境中学习辨认商品、选择物品以及完成购物任务。
在购物过程中，孩子们也逐步学习完整的购物流程，例如：找到指定商品、购买水果后到秤重区进行称重、拿取所需物品，并学习排队等候及到柜台付款。
通过这次活动，让孩子们将课堂上所学习的生活技能运用到实际生活中，同时培养他们的 独立能力、观察力、理解指令能力、社会适应能力及日常生活自理能力。🌈✨
