Malaysian Hindu Youth Council (HYO), also known as the Hindu Youth Organisation, is the largest and oldest Hindu youth-based non-governmental organization (NGO) in Malaysia.

PROGRAM RAKAN BUMI SEMPENA SAMBUTAN HARI ALAM SEKITAR SEDUNIA 2026 🌱🏝️🌊

Program Rakan Muda@Rakan Bumi Sempena Hari Alam Sekitar Sedunia 2026 telah berjaya dilaksanakan. Majlis Belia Hindu Malaysia dengan kerjasama Kementerian Belia Dan Sukan, Majlis Belia Malaysia dan ADTEC JTM Kampus Ipoh telah melaksanakan gotong royong pembersihan sekitar Kawasan pantai tersebut.

Antara Aktiviti yang telah dilaksanakan adalah gotong-royong pembersihan kawasan pantai, pengasingan bahan Kitar semula, timbang bahan kitar semula, Explorace Alam dan kesedaran kepentingan alam sekitar.

Majlis Penutup program telah dirasmikan oleh Tuan Naim Al Amin Bin Dato Saharudin Pengerusi Tetap MBM merangkap Presiden MBN Perak. Turut hadir memeriahkan Wakil JBSN Perak En. Azlan Bin Hussain, Pegawai Belia dan Sukan Daerah Manjung, En Ahmad Nazrin Shah, Timbalan Presiden MBN Perak dan En Anwar Azwan, Pengerusi MBD Manjung.

Majlis Belia Hindu Malaysia merakamkan setinggi-tinggi penghargaan dan ucapan terima kasih kepada semua peserta, sukarelawan, rakan strategik, agensi terlibat serta komuniti setempat yang telah bersama-sama menjayakan program ini.

TAMIL NEW YEAR CELEBRATION 2026

The Malaysian Hindu Youth Council (HYO Malaysia) proudly celebrates the successful organization of the Tamil New Year Celebration 2026, held in collaboration with more than 35 Indian NGOs. This meaningful celebration brought together the community in the spirit of unity, culture, and new beginnings.

We were honored to have YB Puan Hannah Yeoh, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories), officiate the event, adding greater significance to this special occasion.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to Mr. Pravin Balasubramaniam and Dr. Loshseni Gunasegaran for their lead in organizing the Traditional Games Demonstration and Competition. Their dedication added vibrancy to the celebration and showcased the richness of our cultural heritage.

From the lively atmosphere to the colorful cultural performances and traditional games, the event reflected the beauty of our heritage and the spirit of togetherness within our community.

A sincere thank you to all our partners, volunteers, and participants who contributed to the success of this celebration. Let us continue to preserve and celebrate our traditions together.

COURTESY VISIT BY MBM TO THE MINISTER OF HUMAN RESOURCES

A courtesy visit was held by a delegation from the Malaysian Youth Council, led by Mohd Izzat Afifi Hj Abdul, with the Minister of Human Resources.

During the meeting, the Malaysian Youth Council discussed strategic collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resources, particularly in expanding access to employment opportunities, talent development, and enhancing the global competitiveness of Malaysian youth.

HYO Malaysia was also invited to participate in the visit. The organization was represented by A. Kishore Kumar, Secretary-General of HYO Malaysia.

May the strong partnership between youth organizations and the government continue to grow in empowering and advancing the development of Malaysia's younger generation.

25 April 2026 | Kuala Lipis, Pahang

The 2026 Annual General Meeting of the Pahang State Hindu Youth Council was successfully held in Kuala Lipis, Pahang.

The event was officiated by the Deputy President of the Majlis Belia Negeri Pahang and Vichitra Asogan, Vice President of HYO Malaysia representing the President of HYO Malaysia.

Also in attendance were representatives from the Jabatan Belia dan Sukan Negeri Pahang and the Youth and Sports Development Office of Kuala Lipis.

Congratulations and best wishes to Dr. Jey Prabakaran Thevar on his appointment as the new Chairman of the Pahang State Hindu Youth Council for the 2026–2028 term.

May his leadership continue to strengthen and advance the organization in serving the Hindu youth community of Pahang.
