♥️Every Child Deserves to Feel Loved, Heard and Valued ♥️

On 14 June 2026, members of the Inner Wheel Club of Selangor (IWCS) visited a Children's Home in Selangor, a place that provides shelter and care for children rescued from vulnerable situations.

We brought along toys, board games and building blocks, but what made the day truly special was the time we spent with the children. We played together, laughed together and listened as they shared stories about their studies, dreams, hobbies and aspirations. They had so much to tell, and they was to .

One moment that touched us deeply was meeting a nine-year-old child who had never eaten McDonald's before. Being able to fulfil that simple wish brought immense joy, not only to the child but to all of us. It reminded us that is often found in the acts of .

As we were about to leave, the children presented us with a handmade thank-you card. Such a simple gesture, yet it touched our hearts profoundly. It was a beautiful reminder that , and connection leave lasting impressions.

We went there hoping to brighten the children's day, but we left feeling inspired by their resilience, warmth and courage. Their smiles will remain in our hearts for a long time.

Sometimes, the greatest gift we can give a child is our time, our presence and the assurance that they matter.

Inner Wheel Club of Selangor (IWCS) General Meeting & Chinese New Year Celebration-
Royal Lake Club, Kuala Lumpur | 10 February 2026

The Inner Wheel Club of Selangor (IWCS) members gathered for our General Meeting and Chinese New Year celebration on 10 February 2026 at the Royal Lake Club, Kuala Lumpur, in an evening filled with , and camaraderie.

The meeting provided an opportunity for members to reconnect, share updates on ongoing projects and discuss upcoming club activities, reflecting our continued commitment to service and friendship.

In the true spirit of the festive season, members also celebrated Chinese New Year with the traditional tossing of , symbolising , , and for the year ahead. The room was filled with laughter and cheerful wishes as members enthusiastically joined in the tradition.

A special highlight of the evening was celebrating the Quarter 1 birthdays of our beloved President, Santha K Jeevamany- fondly known as our “Selfie Queen” and our Vice President & "Dancing Queen", Rakhee Sawlani. Members came together to wish them a wonderful year ahead filled with happiness and success.

The celebrations continued with a sumptuous dinner at the Chinese Restaurant in the Royal Lake Club, where members enjoyed a delightful spread of traditional dishes while sharing conversations, laughter and memorable moments together.

It was truly a lovely evening that reflected the strong bonds of friendship within IWCS, where meetings are not just about discussions but also about celebrating togetherness and the joy of being part of this vibrant sisterhood.
