We are thrilled to announce the inauguration of The Rotary Foundation Rotary International Global Grant , a transformative project dedicated to equip Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah with life-saving medical equipment. With a total grant value of RM142,846.11, this initiative has provided the hospital with essential tools, including: One Dialysis Machine, One Defibrillator, Four Oxygen Hood Headboxes, One Warm Air Hyperthermia Unit, One Infusion Pump One Syringe Pumps, One Vital Sign Monitor, and a LED Slit Lamp.

This achievement was made possible through the incredible collaboration between our Host Club, the Rotary Club of Alor Star, and our dedicated international partners: sister club Rotary Club of Guindy, RI Dt. 3233 India and the Rotary Club of Taoyuan Kinghawk Rotary International District 3502, Taiwan.

A special thank you to our distinguished guests who inaugurated the project on May 20, 2026.

RCAS is tendering its support to the Part 1 Psychological First Aid (PFA) Certified Course for Teachers held in Alor Setar. The course was organized by the National Coalition for Mental Wellbeing Malaysia, an NGO originally initiated by Rotary District 3300 Malaysia and developed in academic partnership with HELP University. It is designed to empower classroom educators to manage emotional distress, provide mental health support, and respond calmly during crisis events.
