HISTORY :-
JCI was founded in Mexico City on December 11, 1944, when representatives from eight nations met to create an organization that would address global concerns. From these eight nations, JCI has grown spanning every continent to include more than 100 nations. HEADQUARTERS :-
The JCI Headquarters was established in 1951 and was located in Coral Gables, Florida, U.S.A., since 1969. In 2002, the JCI Headquarters was relocated to St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.A., where the first local organization was founded in 1918. A professional staff of 20 full-time employees provides services to JCI members. International Cooperations :-
JCI is an international Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) with active participation in the United Nations (UN) system. In this context, JCI has relations with the Office of the UN Secretary General (Secretariat) and a Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). Furthermore, JCI has cooperation agreements with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), International Association of Students in Economics and Management (AIESEC), the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), Conference of Non-Governmental Organizations (CONGO), NGO Committee on UNICEF (Committee), the United Nations Department of Public Information (DPI), and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). JCI is also registered by the Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) as a civil society organization entitled to participate in OAS activities.

🚀 JCI Discover & JCI Explore 2026

On 2 August 2026, our members took part in the JCI Discover & Explore training at Sparkz Group.

Through interactive activities and meaningful sharing, participants gained a deeper understanding of JCI’s mission, leadership opportunities, and the many ways we can grow while creating a positive impact in our communities.

It was also a valuable opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and build friendships with fellow young active citizens.

Our sincere appreciation also goes to our trainers team, our most supportive NVP Assign Sophia Loo, JCI Alor Setar Local President Jia Cheng, and JCI Butterworth City Local Secretary Jessie for sharing their experience, knowledge, and guidance with all participants.

A special thank you to our Area Chair Zoey Tang for generously sponsoring the venue and our NPICC Joeyee for supporting this meaningful learning experience. We also appreciate everyone involved in making the training a success!

每一袋热血，都是生命延续的希望。

2026年7月24日，我们共迎来了 86 位民众参与，并成功筹获 60 包热血。感谢每一位捐血者，用行动传递爱心，为有需要的病患带来希望。

特别感谢本次活动筹委会主席 Teoh Sheak Lun（张学伦） 的带领与付出。身兼同育华小校友会主席的他，积极促成各单位合作，从筹备到执行都全力以赴，让活动得以顺利圆满举行。
