Ex-Scouts Lau Hong Kai, How Xue Jun, and Chang Chong Chih of 11 GTS have been formally conferred the prestigious Sijil Pengakap Raja by Pengakap Pulau Pinang during the official ceremony held at KOMTAR, Penang, on 29 November 2025. This honour represents the highest level of achievement attainable within the Malaysian scouting movement, symbolising excellence in character, leadership, service, and discipline.
This remarkable milestone is the culmination of years of dedication, resilience, and personal growth. Their success reflects not only their unwavering determination and strong sense of responsibility, but also the values of cooperation, leadership, and perseverance that Scouting seeks to instill in every young person. Their journey was built upon countless hours of training, community service, teamwork, and steadfast commitment to the Scout Promise and Law.
We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to our Assistant Scoutmasters, teachers, and parents, whose unwavering guidance, encouragement, and support have played an instrumental role in shaping these young individuals. Their continuous involvement has ensured that the Scouts were able to thrive, overcome challenges, and uphold the spirit of Scouting throughout their journey.
May this achievement inspire all current and future Scouts of 11 GTS to carry the spirit of excellence forward.
