" What is the BOYS' BRIGADE (BB) ? "

The Boys' Brigade is the world FIRST uniform unit ever created. BB was founded in 4th OCT 1883. We are The 8th PENANG COMPANY and was founded in September 1982. So why are we so SPECIAL? It is because the method we achieve our object is by providing meaningful & enjoyable programmed of EDUCATIONAL, PHYSICAL, SOCIAL & SPIRITUAL interest guided by adult leaders

as officers to YOU. Throughout the framework of UNIFORM, BADGES & DRILL(marching), the habits of DISCIPLINE, SELF-RESPECT, SMARTNESS & TEAMWORK are developed in each Boy/Girl according to his/her needs and capacity. If you're a student in

💐 In Loving Memory of Dato’ Harry Goh Eng Wan (the Founding Captain of the 8th Penang Company, The Boys’ Brigade in Malaysia.)

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dato’ Harry Goh Eng Wan.

Dato’ Harry Goh faithfully served as 8th Penang Captain from 1982 to 1997 and was a true pioneer. The man who laid the foundation of the Boys’ Brigade ministry at Ayer Itam Chinese Methodist Church. His vision and courage to start something new has blessed not only his generation, but also thousand of thousands of Boys’ Brigade members through the decades, and will continue to do so for generations to come.

He is the name we mention with utmost respect every time we teach or learn about the Target Badge, the first badge every BB Member earns, where we remember him as the first captain of the 8th Penang Company. His story is not just part of our history, it is a cornerstone of our identity as EPians.

Thank you, Mr Goh, for your faith, leadership, and legacy.
