Through The Future Is for Everyone Fund, supported by Meta Platforms, Inc., eligible donations could be matched dollar for dollar, up to $25,000 per qualifying nonprofit!

Compadres Therapy, Inc. is excited to announce that we have received a generous $5,000 matching grant from the Andrea Dorsey Kirs Legacy Fund. During Early Giving Day (October 8 - 14, 2026), your donation can potentially double the impact! Every eligible dollar donated toward our matching goal of $5000 helps us unlock additional funding to care for our incredible equine partners.

An annual sponsorship of $6,500 per horse in 2027 will help cover essential care, including: Routine health and wellness care; Vaccinations and preventive veterinary services; Farrier care and hoof maintenance; Daily care and ongoing maintenance. We are grateful for the generous individuals and grant organizations who already sponsor members of our Therapy Horse Herd 2026.

With your additional support during El Paso Giving Day, we can ensure that more of our horses in 2027 receive the care they deserve while continuing their important work in equine assisted services. Welcome to the Compadres Therapy, Inc. Team! We are grateful and excited to welcome our 2026–2027 Interns: Jessica, Kathy, Mariana, and Nikelle!

These talented individuals join us from the Community Impact Summer Internship Program (presented by Bank of America and Union Pacific in collaboration with Workforce Solutions Borderplex and the Paso del Norte Community Foundation) and the Social Work graduate programs from The University of Texas at El Paso and Our Lady of the Lake University. Throughout their internships, they will gain hands on experience while learning how the human-animal bond and Equine Assisted Services can support individuals, families, and our community.

We are honored to be part of their professional journey and look forward to a wonderful year of learning, service, and meaningful connections with the horses! ❤️ 🐎

Happy Independence Day from Compadres Therapy, Inc. from Chief! 🐎

We welcome the newest member of our therapy horse herd and handsome American Appaloosa. ❤️

Chief has become a key partner in changing lives through education and experiences with the healing power of horses. He has already touched the lives of children, veterans, families, and individuals of all abilities, helping them to discover confidence, resilience, and hope.

Also, we recognize our other resident American Horse Breeds – Hollywood (Quarter Horse) Travis (Mustang), Zane (Tennessee Walker) and Tesoro (Paint).
