En el Día Mundial del Acogimiento Familiar, recordamos que todos los niños y adolescentes tienen derecho a crecer en un entorno seguro, estable y lleno de afecto.
El acogimiento familiar es una medida alternativa de cuidado que brinda a niñas, niños y adolescentes un hogar temporal mientras se resuelve de manera definitiva su situación familiar. Más que un techo, les ofrece vínculos afectivos, atención individualizada, estabilidad emocional y la oportunidad de desarrollarse en un ambiente familiar.
Aunque en Baja California aún son pocas las familias de acogida, cada una representa una oportunidad para que un niño viva la experiencia de pertenecer, ser cuidado y sentirse amado mientras espera una solución permanente.
Porque cuidar también es abrir espacio en el corazón 🤍

On World Foster Care Day, we are reminded that every child and adolescent has the right to grow up in a safe, stable, and nurturing environment.
Foster care is an alternative care measure that provides children and adolescents with a temporary family home while their family situation is being resolved permanently. More than just a place to live, it offers emotional connections, individualized care, emotional stability, and the opportunity to grow and thrive in a family setting.
Although there are still few foster families in Baja California, each one represents an opportunity for a child to experience belonging, receive care, and feel loved while awaiting a permanent solution.
Because caring also means making room in your heart 🤍
