Puente de Amistad means "Bridge of Friendship." This ministry is a bridge between groups from the states and the people of Tijuana.

We display the love of Jesus in tangible ways by helping with orphanages and feeding kitchens, assisting in building projects for the poor, ministering in various churches, and working with other missionaries and local pastors to help meet peoples' needs.

Today First Church Ottumwa ministered at a local men’s rehab center and at church at Con Ganas de Seguir feeding kitchen, where they gave a word from the Lord and prayed for others at each ministry. Tomorrow they get to enjoy some much deserved respite at the beach, especially with the intense heat we’ve had. We are grateful for how they poured into the people of Tijuana this past week.

Today’s docket included: another Daughters of the King Party for a different woman’s rehab and a pastors appreciation night. It was a beautiful day of building others up in prayer and encouragement!

After two years, we are glad to welcome back First Church of the Open Bible Ottumwa from Iowa! Today they threw a Daughters of the King party for the women at a local rehab center. It was a special time with yummy food, encouragement, testimonies, and prayer. In the afternoon, they partnered with Zone RED ministries to feed the homeless downtown. An amazing first day!

HAPPY 70th birthday Marcial! You bring joy and Jesus everywhere you go. Not many people would keep building houses into their 70s, but you are not most people. Thank you for always putting the Kingdom first, for the countless teams you have led in building a house for a family in need, and for your contagious smile. We love you Marcial! May the Lord bless your 70th year seventy times over!!!

Creekside Church did an outstanding job once again! These past few days, they ministered a local women’s rehab center and finished building a house for a family who lost theirs in a fire last year. Plus, we had a birthday celebration for one of the team members.

Praise God for a safe and fruitful week. We loved hosting Creekside Church at Puente and can’t wait for them to come back!

Creekside Church from Martinez, California has returned! They started their week off by feeding the homeless downtown and attending church at Con Ganas de Seguir feeding kitchen, where Pastor Ryan gave a message and the team prayed over all the fathers. Today, they started construction of a home for a family whose house burned down last year and ministered at a local casa hogar (orphanage). It’s been an awesome first two days!
