One of the blessings of persecution our brothers and sisters face is clear understanding that they are dependent upon the revelation of Christ in God’s Word. They hunger for that which they know to be necessary for their survival. Despite grave risk and great cost, they do not allow God’s Word and prayer to be relegated to the fringes of their daily behaviors. They use Scripture in ways that ensure Christ is placed at the center, in truth.

The air rushing into a peregrine falcon’s nose during its high speed dives reaching over 240 mph should rupture its lungs. Instead, bony tubercles inside its nostrils precisely regulate airflow and prevent damage. Engineers later used this same principle when solving airflow problems in jet engine intakes.

Without a supreme Designer, modern aircraft would not exist. And without that same Designer, the falcon itself could not exist. One uncontrolled dive would have ended the species. This is not trial and error. This is intentional design. Only God.
