The Lighthouse Project will provide boys aged 15 - 20 years with positive experiences and opportunities to learn English, cooking and wellbeing techniques. With the support and encouragement from the Lighthouse Project, these boys will learn these new skills and build their confidence, and the Lighthouse Project will encourage positive behaviours such as educational engagement and employment prepa
ration, ultimately helping these teens to lead happier, healthier lives. As the Lighthouse Project grows and evolves, we will also aim to provide small grants and financial support to assist teens in pursuing opportunities and academic, sporting, musical and artistic interests that might otherwise be financially out of reach. We will also look at facilitating pathways to apprenticeships and vocational education, along with the necessary support, to help our older teens to fulfil their goals and aspirations. El Proyecto Faro brindará a los niños de entre 15 y 20 años experiencias positivas y oportunidades para aprender inglés, cocinar y técnicas de bienestar. Con el apoyo y el aliento del Proyecto Lighthouse, estos niños aprenderán estas nuevas habilidades y desarrollarán su confianza, y el Proyecto Lighthouse fomentará comportamientos positivos como el compromiso educativo y la preparación para el empleo, lo que en última instancia ayudará a estos adolescentes a llevar una vida más feliz y saludable. A medida que el Proyecto Lighthouse crece y evoluciona, también intentaremos proporcionar pequeñas subvenciones y apoyo financiero para ayudar a los adolescentes a buscar oportunidades e intereses académicos, deportivos, musicales y artísticos que de otro modo podrían estar fuera de su alcance financieramente.
