A Heartfelt Thank You to Chalky White from Seaside Rotary

The Rotary Club of Playa del Carmen Seaside extends its deepest gratitude to our friend and community champion Chalky White, who recently turned a fun two-hour singing challenge into real, tangible impact for children in need.

Nauti B***o was packed to the gills on Monday afternoon with 120+ onlookers spilling out onto the marina. They were all there to support Chalky as he performed an amazing repertoire of songs for over two hours, all in the name of good fun and charity.

Thanks to Chalky’s effort—and the extraordinary generosity of an anonymous donor who matched all contributions peso-for-peso—the event raised 44,000 pesos for our ongoing Feeding the Future program.

This donation will help us continue providing two nutritious meals every school day to children who would otherwise be at risk of going hungry. For many families in this community, this program is a lifeline, and support like this keeps it alive.

We also thank Donnie Young for offering his space and helping to coordinate operations and everyone in Puerto Aventuras and beyond who donated online or in person. Your kindness has a direct, immediate impact on children’s health, learning, and well-being.
