We are , an organization of young innovators and game changers of social and environmental activism. One of our s

trategies to bring awareness and involve the general public to protect and restore the coral reef ecosystem is the use of Virtual Reality Green. Our first 360 Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQxOu7ZvLsY

Hypothesis:
The lack of awareness/empathy on how important the coral is and the need of preserving and restoring the reefs is due to the fact that very small amount of the population has being underwater and educated about it. If we can bring people underwater and enrich them with the experience, more people will be engage on being a part of the solution. Virtual Reality as an empathy tool can provide to the user of an inmersive experience in witch he can be in the size or speed motion of one of the organisms that depends on the coral, a micro cosmos experience of a parallel world underwater. Clase: Anthozoa

On this Day of the Dead, we remember those who have passed away. And today, the ocean also has its own altars. 🕯️🐚

Coral reefs, the vibrant, life-filled cities of our sea, are dying at an unprecedented rate. Their cause of death: ocean fever caused by climate change, which bleaches and weakens them until they become ghostly skeletons.

It’s projected that by 2040, these mass bleaching events could be annual. We’re at risk of losing these vital ecosystems forever, and with them, coastal protection, biodiversity, and the livelihoods of millions.

But in memory and action, there’s hope. 🌊

Just as we honor those who have passed, we refuse to give up on corals. At Restore Coral, we’re not spectators at a funeral; we’re doctors in an intensive care unit.

Our project is the living offering:
♻️ We rescue fragments of sick coral.
🏥 We nurse them back to health in our underwater nurseries.
🔬 We use marine biotechnology to give them a second chance.

This Day of the Dead, we invite you to honor the life of the ocean. Not with laments, but with action. Help us build more nurseries, save more corals, and bring color back to the sea.

Life can defeat death! 💀✨ With your support, we can continue writing this story of regeneration.

👉 Contact us to know how you can support and be part of the reef’s resurrection.

Coral reefs are experiencing an irreversible die-off, marking the first “tipping point” in climate-driven ecosystem collapse, with warm-water coral reefs facing unprecedented mortality due to repeated mass bleaching events.

The Global Tipping Points report warns that we’re on the brink of more tipping points, including the loss of ice sheets and the collapse of major ocean currents .

But the most dangerous of all crises is the one of the indifferent human being, who feels powerless to change their reality and the world’s.

It’s time to evolve or perish, make the decision, let’s be heroes in the face of danger, together we are stronger.

Are you open to the possibility of being a person capable of changing yourself and changing the fate of this world?

The Sustainable Development Goal 14 (SDG 14) is crucial for the health of our planet. It focuses on conserving and sustainably using the world's oceans, seas, and marine resources. By protecting marine ecosystems, we can preserve biodiversity, regulate the climate, and ensure food security for millions of people. Achieving SDG 14 requires concerted efforts to reduce pollution, overfishing, and habitat destruction. By working together, we can safeguard the future of our oceans and the many benefits they provide.
