We want to wish our long time friend and benefactor, Mr. T. Dale Smith, our "Mr. Dale" for his 88 birthday!!
He's been a loyal and close friend to Manos Juntas for more time than we can recall, and his contributions to the growth of the ministry is invaluable.
Martha has put up with him for all these years and we bless them both for being so awesome!!

𝑯𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒚 𝑩𝒊𝒓𝒕𝒉𝒅𝒂𝒚, 𝒅𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝒇𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒅!!

𝘿𝙊 𝙔𝙊𝙐 𝙆𝙉𝙊𝙒 𝙏𝙃𝙄𝙎 𝙂𝙐𝙔??

Of course you do!!
Juan has been an asset to the ministry for more than 15 years. His story, as many of our stories, is a complex one: mistakes, trials and challenges that Juan has overcome through God's grace, great effort and a sunny disposition.
Married to Isabel for 20+ years. Their son Samuel Isaac is 11 years old and just entering Jr. High School. Juan's love for his family is without question, and he has acquired a lot of skills through stubbornness and dedication: plumbing, welding and electricity.
We want to keep him working through these months when no teams come to visit and need your help. His family depends on him working.

𝘼 𝙑𝑬𝙍𝒀 𝑰𝙈𝑷𝙊𝑹𝙏𝑨𝙉𝑻 𝑴𝙀𝑺𝙎𝑨𝙂𝑬 𝑭𝙍𝑶𝙈 𝙈𝑨𝙉𝑶𝙎 𝙅𝑼𝙉𝑻𝘼𝑺:

As the news of the disturbances caused yesterday in Mexico hit around the world, we want to ensure our volunteers and friends that our city has not been impacted by violent acts at all.
The events that were unleashed yesterday were committed by members of a drug cartel whose boss was captured in a major operation that took place in Tapalpa, state of Jalisco, about 700 miles from Rio Bravo. The criminals reacted to this with blockades and vehicle burnings in 11 states of the republic, but the country is at peace now. There were blockades on the road to Reynosa but they were cleared quickly by our armed forces. That was the extent of the violence in our area. There has not been any further developments and we do not expect any in Rio Bravo.
Our staff and programs are working normally and the population is going about its business as usual. We are keeping a very close look at the situation and following extra safety rules just in case.
We have a visiting team from Oklahoma and they went about their business as usual: they held a banquet for scholarship students yesterday, crossed the border and are now building their casita as they normally do.
As stated before,, to Manos Juntas your safety is paramount and our proven track record of keeping our team safe goes back 33 years.
We invite you to cast out fear and come to work with us.
There is no danger to our teams or we would be the first to advise you not to come.
