🩵 🐾 Epic 🐾🩵

Meet Epic this beautiful boy was left to fend for himself at Walmart/Sam’s Club.
We were just going to get a few bits of shopping to stock up, to be ready for Hurricane Simon.
Epic was sat outside of Sam’s Club, waiting for the next person to talk to him.
Of course once we saw him the thought of leaving him there to fend for himself, especially with the hurricane on its way.
Watching him, he would lift one paw up as if resting it, put it down and lift the other, his eyes showed his exhaustion.
We didn’t have a leash, but it wasn’t necessary, it was as if he knew.
He walked with us slowly and gently to the car. Lisa had to lift him as he did not have the energy to do it himself.
We decided to call him Epic, as we really hope this is the beginning of a truly Epic life for him 🩵
He is hunkered down now nice comfy bed, enjoyed a good meal and has a big bowl of water.

If you would be interested in fostering Epic, please let us know.

🤰 Oh Mama 👩‍🍼

We were asked to rake this little girl, who we have called Fizz, happy friendly and very pregnant when she came into us.
This appeared to be her first pregnancy, and it will definitely be her last.
Fizz gave birth to six Puppies, 2 of which did not survive.
Despite Fizz having a hard time of giving birth, she has so far been the perfect mama.
We will keep you updated on Fizz and the puppies, two of which are boys and two girls.
Watch them grow with us 💞

If you would like to donate to Fizz and the puppies care, please go to thesulasociety.com/donate

🚨 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED FOR LUNA 🚨
Luna desperately needs a soft landing. 💔 She is located in the Victoria area, transport can be arranged to other areas. 🙏

We are urgently looking for a loving foster home for Luna, as she is at risk of being surrendered. She needs someone who can give her a safe, calm place to land while we work toward finding the best possible outcome for her.

If you can foster Luna — or know someone who might be able to help — please reach out to The SULA Society as soon as possible.

Even sharing this post could make all the difference. ❤️

🐾 Please help Luna find her soft landing. 🙏

🐾 ¿Quieres venir a conocer a nuestros perros? ¡Ven a visitarnos!

Quizás vengas simplemente a saludar… y termines encontrando a tu compañero perfecto. ❤️

🐾 We’ve Heard There’s Some Confusion About Where We Adopt To — Let’s Clear It Up! 🐾

We’ve recently heard that some people believe The Sula Society does not adopt our dogs locally — and we wanted to make sure everyone knows that this simply isn’t the case! ❤️

YES, we absolutely adopt locally! 🏡🐶

Our dogs are available for adoption to loving families and individuals right here in Mexico, as well as in Canada and the USA. 🇲🇽🇨🇦🇺🇸

For adopters outside the local area, we can arrange transportation to most international airports throughout North America to help get our dogs safely to their new families.

But local adoptions are incredibly special to us. ❤️ We love seeing our dogs stay close to the community they came from and finding wonderful families right here in the area.

We’re also always looking for local volunteers! If you live nearby or are travelling through the area and would like to spend some time meeting and or walking our dogs, we would love to have you.

🐾 Want to come meet the dogs? Come visit us!

We welcome both locals and travellers to the shelter. We just ask that you contact us in advance so we can make sure someone is available to greet you, introduce you to the dogs, and show you around.

You may come to simply say hello… and perhaps leave having found your perfect companion. ❤️

We would love to meet you and introduce you to the wonderful dogs of The Sula Society!
