It is with sadness that we confirm that the news about the violence in Jalisco, and Puerto Vallarta, is real. We have been receiving live reports and videos since the violence began this morning. Due to the graphic nature of this situation, we will not be posting any pictures. We also wish to protect those that are sending us updates, as the locations can be easily identified. Videos and news reports are easily found on other sites. Our concern at this time is for the citizens of Puerto Vallarta who find themselves caught in this violence. There has been considerable damage to vehicles, businesses and property. In a recent update, the destruction had escalated to buildings burning down. Janet and I had planned to return to Puerto Vallarta in early March, but may have to reconsider depending on how this all develops. Please pray for the people there.
