Just a good mamma and her last remaining girl pup looking for homes.

Meet Nova, 2 year old mamma, who is a shepherd cross (maybe collie?) who was dumped with her 9 puppies all alone. She is healthy, spayed and vaccinated. She is playful with her pups and friends, but likely didn't see alot of the good in the world so she goes slow. She's looking for a quiet home with a yard to enjoy sunbathing. She has passed her cat visits with composure.

Katia and Koa her 6 month old little girl pups are smart, playful and GORGEOUS. They has spent her early life in shelter and enjoys playing with her puppy friends, good with cats and even ventures in for swim time. They will be exploring the bigger world for the first time so might prefer a quieter setting.

If you think you might be a fit for one of these beauties, would like more information, on adoption or fostering, we'd love to hear from you at [email protected]

This is the kind of stories we hate to share but we believe is important we share this content to raise awareness among our community.
Few weeks ago we found this poor female Rottweiler nearby the Shelter right outside a school parking lot. She was not moving despite the rain, the sun, the heat, clearly she was not well. We thought she might have been lost but later we came to the conclusion that this poor dog was probably dumped.
When we approach to see her physical situation we realize she didn't have one of her eyes and the other one was in very bad shape. She had no appetite and was barely moving. To our horror she was infested in fly maggots, this was the drilling warm that attacks sick dogs and makes it way in the animals system through small wounds. We realize this dog had been suffering probably for weeks and that the maggots had destroyed her eye to the point of leaving that huge whole in her eye socket, her nasal cavities were compromised aswell. After a long debate and diagnostic from a vet, we decided that the best for her was to put her to sleep and end her suffering. This feels like a defeat for us, we weren't able to bring her back to health to bring her life back to her body.
If you ever find a dog in a similar condition, PLEASE, don't wait for someone else to take responsibility, rush the to the vet, give the urgent medical care. The amount of pain they go through is unimaginable.
We want to give special thanks to Alejandro Bautista and Centro de Control y Bienestar Animal who aid us that day to diagnose the dog, put her to sleep and disposed of the body.

Meet brothers Koda, Kenzo, and Levi
Each looking for their first home.
They are 4 months old and were dumped as young puppies with their mum. They make the best of their time in shelter playing, visiting cats and even some time in the swimming pool. They've spent their early life in shelter, so looking to go slow as they experience the real world. They are healthy pups who we think will grow to 45 lbs like their mum. If you'd like more information on this litter email us at [email protected]. They have flight options for BC or Alberta coming up later this fall.
