Investours is an innovative social enterprise that leverages the power of tourism to promote economic growth in Mexico and Tanzania.

In both Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, we bring travelers to meet local artisans who have applied for micro-loans to grow small business projects such as dressmaking, woodcarving, or food vending. The tour group gains an intimate perspective on the local way of life while directly witnessing the power of microfinance. The group also enjoys a traditional meal and vibrant, off-the-beaten-path sightseeing. This is an authentic cultural experience travelers can feel good about, as Investours uses tour fees to provide financial support and services to the small businesses involved on the tours.
