For those inquiring regarding Sally Este's health, the family has provided the following update:
"For all of you loving souls that are reaching out with warm hearts, prayers, and cares for Sally, we wanted to give you an update. The journey has just begun. She flew with an angel, Dr. Annael Santillan, to KC, Missouri, on Thursday, July 16, 2026. Immediately taken to KU Medical Center Emergency. Processed and admitted that evening. Visited with tons of specialists and documents from PV were reviewed. Determined to have an aggressive B-cell lymphoma. The good news is that with chemo and immunotherapy, it is treatable. Will be a long, arduous road, but with all the positive thoughts, prayers, and caring souls, she will conquer this. So many have reached out, it is difficult to acknowledge all the requests, so we are in the process of setting up a CaringBridge page that you can access, get updates, and make comments as Sally goes through this journey."
