Puerto Escondido, Mexico FB page. We are a rescue/shelter that takes in street dogs that are injured, sick, abused, neglected or abandoned. We currently have over 130 dogs & work hard to rehab these dogs & then find responsible adopters. Puerto Escondido relies completely on donations and is run by volunteers so we always need donations, volunteers, food, medical supplies, dog toys, collars/leashe

My thoughts often turn to the puppies that have grown up and still await adoption, it's heartbreaking to witness puppies left behind, my wish is that there are people who are interested in large dogs, as they have a great deal of love to give and all they desire is love, attention, and walks, a straightforward ask. Please consider adopting a big dog, they need your love

In the aftermath of the storm last night, Pablo Jimenez and Emiliano worked diligently to clear debris and reinforce the tires with dirt to prevent them from washing away. It is essential that we continue to fortify the river banks to safeguard the doggies. Magali and I worked diligently to clean the areas for the dogs and provided beds for them to enjoy in the sun. We are committed to ensuring their safety, and I am grateful to Pablo, Emiliano, and Magali Bella Reyes for their tireless efforts and overnight vigilance in monitoring the doggies. Please extend our gratitude to them.

Are you in Vancouver BC looking for a well vetted, socialized puppy that will steal your heart? Elvis is a 4 month old pup you will fall in love with! He is good with other dogs, cats, & kids. This blue eyed gorgeous fellow will be your shadow & just wants to be loved. He’s 12 kilos, neutered, up to date on vaccines, nearly fully house trained (started on bell training & picking it up well) Elvis will grow to an estimated 20-25 kilos. You will recall that we rescued Guiro from a situation of abuse and neglect, where she was being restrained. Following her rescue, she underwent sterilization and recently completed her second veterinary examination, including blood work. The results revealed that she has contracted Canine Ehrlichiosis, a tick-borne illness. We will initiate a 30-day treatment regimen of doxycycline to address this condition. The support of our donors has been instrumental in enabling us to provide critical care to this deserving animal, who has endured immense mistreatment. Our organization remains committed to rescuing as many dogs and puppies as possible from similar situations.

It's raining again today, and as you can see, we're all soaked, the river is swelling and we'll need to confine the dogs and open the gates to prevent the river from pushing down the fence, we've been cleaning all day to keep debris clear and prevent water accumulation and overflow into the dog enclosure.
The rain is so important but it can be so destructive too
Another sleepless night, I know we are doing everything we can to keep them safe but I can’t help but worry
