Happy Earth Day!

PLEASE SHARE!

Microplastics: It is estimated that people consume 5 grams of microplastics a week – that’s the same as the weight of a credit card! Stop the use of plastic now and switch to reusable water bottles, grocery bags, produce bags, and snack baggies; bring your own reusable food containers when dining out; add a note to takeout orders for no single-use utensils and condiments; say no to straws; and think twice about packaging.

The illegal pet trade starts with a click.
The Indian Star Tortoise is one of the most trafficked reptiles in the world — not because of medicine, not because of meat…
…but because people think it looks beautiful.

That’s the problem.

Wildlife trafficking today is no longer just a supply issue.
It’s a consumer awareness failure.

At Green Dolphin Project Global, we’re tackling this at the source.
We’re building Wild Aware — a tool designed to help everyday consumers:
• Identify wildlife products
• Avoid illegal purchases
• Hold marketplaces accountable

Because conservation doesn’t scale without behavior change.
Take action:
✔ Take our 2-minute wildlife consumer survey (link below)
✔ Join the Wild Aware early access list
✔ Share this to raise awareness

We’ve mapped the ocean…
tracked migrations across thousands of miles…
and studied the largest fish on Earth…

But we still don’t know where whale sharks give birth.

🦈

Scientists have discovered pregnant Whale Shark diving into extreme depths — thousands of feet below the surface.

Some researchers believe these deep, remote areas could be where they finally give birth… far beyond where humans can easily observe.

Even more astonishing?

A single female has been found carrying hundreds of pups at once — yet newborn whale sharks are almost never seen.

It’s one of the greatest unsolved mysteries in marine science.

And it matters.

Because if we don’t know where life begins…
we don’t know how to protect it.

🌊

The ocean doesn’t give up its secrets easily.
But somewhere in the deep…
the next generation of whale sharks is being born.

💬 What do you think — deep sea or hidden coastal nursery?

📌 Save this to remember

Wildlife trafficking is now one of the largest illegal trades in the world.
But here’s the problem most people don’t realize:
Many wildlife products are sold in ways that make them look completely normal. Jewelry, souvenirs, decorations, exotic pets… even everyday items can sometimes come from endangered species.
Most people would never knowingly support that.
So we asked a simple question:
What if your phone could help stop wildlife trafficking?
At Green Dolphin Project Global, we’re launching Wild Aware — a mobile app designed to help consumers identify wildlife products, learn what they’re made from, and report suspected wildlife trafficking.
Our goal is to put a powerful conservation tool into the hands of everyday people.
But to build the app, we need your help.
We’ve launched a GoFundMe to bring Wild Aware to life in 2026, and every contribution helps us move closer to making it real.
Even a small donation helps.
If you care about protecting wildlife and giving people the power to make better choices, please consider supporting and sharing this campaign.
Together, we can turn awareness into action.

🌍 Welcoming Cash Daniels to the Green Dolphin Project Global Youth Board Advisory Team! 🐬

We are honored to announce that Cash Daniels — award-winning youth conservationist, author, and founder of Wild Earth Defenders — has joined Green Dolphin Project Global as a Youth Board Advisory Member.

Cash has already accomplished what many adults only dream about. Through his organization Wild Earth Defenders, he has helped remove thousands of miles of discarded fishing line and more than 50,000 pounds of trash from waterways, protecting wildlife and inspiring communities to take action for the natural world.

Known to many as on Instagram, Cash represents the next generation of conservation leadership — passionate, courageous, and committed to real, measurable impact.

As a Youth Board Advisory Member, Cash will help guide Green Dolphin Project Global in strengthening youth engagement in conservation. His work removing fishing line from waterways aligns powerfully with our mission to protect aquatic ecosystems and marine life. Together, we will amplify efforts to reduce waterway pollution, inspire young conservationists, and empower communities to take action for wildlife and the health of our planet.

Cash reminds us that age is never a barrier to protecting the Earth — leadership can begin at any stage of life.

Please join us in welcoming Cash to the Green Dolphin Project Global family! 🌊🐬

🦅 Peregrine Falcon
Illegal Wildlife Trade Is Happening in the UK

Why This Species

The Fastest Animal on Earth — and Still at Risk

Once nearly extinct, peregrine falcons represent one of conservation’s greatest recoveries.

But success does not mean safety.

The Threat

Stolen From the Wild

Peregrine chicks are being illegally taken from nests to supply the exotic falcon trade.

Protected species are still targeted for profit.

Why It Matters

Wildlife Trafficking Undermines Conservation

Illegal harvesting:
• Reduces wild populations
• Disrupts ecosystems
• Fuels criminal networks

Conservation progress can be reversed.

Wildlife Crime Isn’t Just a Distant Problem

Trafficking happens:
• In developed countries
• In protected landscapes
• Wherever profit exists

No region is immune.

What Needs to Happen

Protection Requires Enforcement

Strong laws exist — but they only work when:
✔ Monitoring is funded
✔ Crimes are prosecuted
✔ Markets are regulated
✔ The public is informed

Call to Action

Awareness Drives Protection

highlights one trafficked species each month to expose wildlife crime and inspire action.

Together, we can reduce demand and protect biodiversity.

Today we celebrate World Pangolin Day — a moment to raise awareness for the most heavily trafficked mammal on Earth.

Pangolins play a vital role in ecosystems by controlling insect populations, yet all eight species are threatened due to illegal wildlife trade and habitat loss.

At Green Dolphin Project Global, we believe protecting wildlife starts with awareness, education, and action. Together, we can help end wildlife trafficking and ensure a future where pangolins — and all species — can thrive. Support us in the build of our new iphone and android app! Together we can help stop wildlife trafficking!

Why I Started Green Dolphin Project Global 🐬🌍

I didn’t start Green Dolphin Project Global because it was easy.
I started it because I couldn’t unsee what I was witnessing.

I saw microplastics embedded in the very ecosystems meant to sustain life—oceans, rivers, food chains—silently harming wildlife and human health.

I saw wildlife trafficking treated as a hidden crime, despite being one of the largest illegal industries in the world, devastating biodiversity species by species.

And I saw global pollinators—the backbone of our food systems—declining at alarming rates, while most people never realized how close this crisis truly is.

I realized something critical:
🌱 Conservation cannot succeed without people.
🌱 Awareness must turn into action.
🌱 And protecting biodiversity requires solutions that connect science, policy, business, and everyday consumers.

Green Dolphin Project Global exists to bridge that gap.

We work to:
• Combat microplastic pollution through education, accountability, and systemic change
• Expose and disrupt wildlife trafficking through awareness and consumer empowerment
• Protect global pollinators by highlighting their role in food security, climate resilience, and economic stability

This organization is rooted in one belief:
💙 Nature is not separate from us—our future depends on how we protect it today.

If you’re here because you care about the planet, wildlife, oceans, or sustainable futures—you’re already part of this mission.

🌍 Watch how global conservation is turning the tide for sea turtles — proof that protecting wildlife truly works! 💚🐢

After decades of decline, there’s finally some good news for green sea turtles! 🐢💚
Once hunted nearly to extinction for their shells, meat, and eggs, these incredible animals have been listed as endangered since the 1980s.

But thanks to years of global conservation efforts — from protecting nesting beaches to making fishing practices safer — their numbers are bouncing back. The IUCN has now reclassified green turtles from Endangered to Least Concern! 🌊👏

It’s a huge win for conservation — though the journey isn’t over. Green turtles still face threats from habitat loss, pollution, climate change, and accidental capture in fishing gear. Continued protection is key to keeping this recovery on track.
