🚨 HURRICANE RACHEL UPDATE — OPEN ARMS MEXICO 🇲🇽
Last night, Hurricane Rachel swept through the communities where our three Open Arms campuses are located, leaving damage in its wake.
As we begin assessing the impact, we have already received reports of significant damage:
🏠 Several of our staff members’ homes suffered roof damage.
🏚️ The roof of our dormitory was damaged.
🚧 The entrance gate at our Los Pinos campus sustained damage.
🙏 We are still waiting to receive a full report from our La Misión campus.
Our buildings may be damaged, but our mission remains unchanged. For over 20 years, Open Arms has been a place of hope, refuge, and love for vulnerable children and families in Baja California. Today, we are asking our Open Arms family to come alongside us once again.
We don’t yet know the full extent of the damage or what it will cost to repair, but we know that every gift, large or small, will help us begin the process of rebuilding and restoring what has been affected.
❤️ WOULD YOU CONSIDER GIVING TOWARD HURRICANE RELIEF?

Please keep our staff, children, families, and surrounding communities in your prayers as we assess the damage and begin recovery.
The storm may have shaken our buildings, but it has not shaken our faith.
Thank you for standing with Open Arms. We are stronger together. ❤️
