We visited the municipality of Charo in Michoacán, where we experienced their Carnival celebrations — a traditional pre-Lenten festival celebrated before the forty days leading to the Holy Days in the Catholic tradition. A great example of Mexico’s rich cultural heritage and traditions.

Today we visited the sunflower sanctuary with Global Shapers Morelia, Santuario del Girasol, and Impacta México 🌻
We met the local producers, learned about their hard work, and helped revalue the beauty and effort behind every flower.
Community, purpose, and nature all in one place 💛
