🕊️ Today we honor the memory of the legendary Cliff Burton, whose influence as Metallica bassist reshaped heavy metal forever. On this anniversary of his passing, we celebrate his life and music through David Ellefson’s powerful rendition of Cliff’s iconic instrumental, “(Anesthesia) – Pulling Teeth.”

🎸 Featured on No Life ’Til Leather – A Tribute to Metallica’s Kill ’Em All (out November 14 via Silver Lining Music), David’s version captures Cliff’s thunderous spirit—recorded with one of Cliff’s own Aria Pro signature basses and his Morley fuzz/wah pedal.

🥁 Backed by the mighty Jason Bittner on drums, this performance is both a heartfelt homage and a reminder of how timeless Cliff’s music remains.
